Just downloaded this and seems to be working fine. The version is accurate. Its modded as described. Theres no force closing or error messages. Nothing came up in my scans for severe issues.

It seems to be OK (good source), I don't know if this is a REAL 8.5.68 mod, mrdude already explained how to check this. Unfortunately, I'm really tired of uninstall-install mods from different sources since there aren't significant changes. This one has no lyrics, lang eng/ru maybe?, no shuffle-only issues, and "real audio settings" haha (you can't choose very high quality because this is a server side feature obviously).

Just want to say that the telegram page linked (LightOne Team) used to upload balatan/mrdude relases renamed in the past, claiming it was their personal releases.
This might not be true anymore, but beware of their work.

Yes it's legit - they reversed the patches we used in previous versions and used the same patches in this version.

They also added libdialog.so to the libs folder (which is not present in the original apk), & added their own popup.

It will be interesting to see it they can come up with new patches when the code changes (when they don't have anything to copy from).

Anyway - I suppose it now saves me and Balatan a job now, as we can always rely on someone else to patch this (and give us zero credit for using our patches) .

Lol. I've known the channel since it started and they never released a Spotify mod before or at least I don't remember it (they also don't have a wide catalog). if you look in the posts, there is only one version of Spotify (July 23rd)

That`s what i thought after dntx25 said that the device is showing as galaxy tab, they decrypted your mod and applied on latest version and got lucky that Spotify fixed their bugs in this version but this mod doesn`t have canvas, storyline mode besides your mods are always better and you've been moding this app for so long and you deserve every credit but there always gonna be some people who will copy your work even i know 2-3 sources who immediately release the copy after yours but we know that when we hear Spotify mod which is legit it's by you and balatan so i hope that you will provide your variant to us now that Spotify has fixed their issues. You are the only legit modder of Spotify and everybody knows it you could have inserted your popup too from start but you never did because it looks original. I've used your mod only for 4-5 years and will continue to use yours only. Thnx again

Sadly looks like there`s not a workaround for the canvas, lyrics, etc

Can't change sound quality in this version
