Overview: RecForge II is a powerfull dictaphone (audio recorder & editor) for Android. It allows to Record, Play, Edit and Share sounds, voices, notes, musics or any other audio media.

Records to mp3, m4a, ogg, wma, flac and opus formats are interrupted every 3 minutes (there is no limit for the wav format). Simply press the pause button to continue recording or buy the pro version to remove this limitation.

RecForge Pro owners : As long as a legit RecForge Pro version is installed on your device, you shouldn't have the 3 minutes limitation.

Hello guys, sorry if I reply to this old thread.
When I use the widget to start recording, it doen't record anything. I only get a 40 kb empty file.
I am using Android 11 (LOS 18.1). I checked all the permissions and reinstalled the app.
When I use the recording from the app it works. From the widget it doesn't.
Could anyone tell me if it's a bug with the app? Are you able to reproduce this issue?

Mod redone from scratch.
Links Updated.

The recording saves to the default directory even after changing it in the settings.

Directory changed to /Music/Recforge but recording still saves in /storage/emulated/0/RecForge



Edit: Changing Limit folders browsing in settings to "All Folders" fixes the issue.

@Kirlif' Can you release an updated version? Thanks in advance.

Scheduled recording fail on most device (I can see record window opened but it remains at 0). Please update.
