This version still has the artist page bug, the one where it says "page could not load" after you click on the artist name.

The bug disappears after you delete cache and force quit the app a few times, but comes back later on if you open the app with google assistant commands or reboot your phone.

A lot of people say this is caused by specific phone ROM, but this bug is present on my phone with MIUI 12, on a samsung phone with latest samsung one ui and even on a phone with aosp android 10.

The latest spotify version which doesn`t have this problem is 8.5.57.1164.

I`m not posting this to be pedantic or rude, I`m posting this in hope the bug might get fixed in the future releases.

On miui 12, also android auto cannot see it. Previous 8.4.43 was working OK.

You need to enable unknown sources in the Android auto developer settings. Then you can enable spotify in the AA customize settings

Ofc, i just wanted to know whats the max and real audio quality of those mods cus nobody can find it, its strange.

the max quality you can get is High quality 160 kbps (it's free, not premium)

Maybe something (adblock/dns filter) is blocking: spclient.wg.spotify.com/artistview/ on your device.
It need to be whitelisted.

I checked and on me hasn't anything to do with device reboot since I rebooted the device before and never had any problem.
The problem appears when you open Spotify with the assistant. When the error occurs force stop Spotify and it should work without reboot, until you use assistant again. So maybe don't use it for Spotify.
If you like talking with your phone that much, you can use voice in Spotify.

yeah it was me who posted it, but i don't think the results are accurate because it can still depend on other factors like the caching of the next track or so. You can get more accurate results by using a spectrogram or any spectral analysis tools.

Can you screenshot? i tested and found no bug for Artist

For me the artist bug came up in android 11 but it went away as soon as I went back to android 10.

I'm not able to play specific song, but i can ask Google to play my favorite songs or a specific playlist, wich is very useful while using earphones or cooking.
