going into most playlist and albums the top green play button is mostly random play, is this how it is nowadays or is it not completely moded?

Imagine that the big green button isn't there. What would you do?
Ignore the big green button and just tap the first or whichever song you want in the Playlist or album. Only "Daily Mix" playlists have "Play" button, all the others have "Shuffle Play" which you should ignore if you want.

Excuse my ignorance on this. I have done some research but still unclear.
I have an OLED screen on my Pixel 3a (Not AMOLED). Will i derive any benefit from this version of the app in terms of either appaerance or battery saving? i have tested it and cannot see any obvious visual benefit. Thanks

No it's not, changing your phone pixels to white or any other colour requires more power. Let me give you an example:

Leds are red/green/blue - to make white each colour needs to be on full power (each using around 20 milliamps to do that so a total of 60 milliamps to make white). When you want to make black - all leds are off so use no power.

Any device using an OLED screen (most smartphones), benefit from black screens/dark themes.

Turning the pixels on the screen off to make black uses less battery power, and that's why your phone has a phone brightness setting to save battery power. Dark themes and apps that are predominately black themed use less power - so can you now see why the Black Amoled theme makes your battery last longer? it's basic science dude, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to grasp that basic concept.

what i mean is that almost every button is like in this picture, shuffelplay you may say

before it was only regular play button, i havent updated spotify version in a while, but maybe this is how spotify wants the button to be today, so its not anything that have to do with the mod

The modder's of this app ALL speak English, and Balatan speaks English and regularly posts 'lite' versions. You'll get a lite version when it's posted and it won't need to be from anyone Russian that doesn't speak English.

yes they know i think maybe... if sign or sha-1 changes they get Analytics but when comes to balatan or karlif releases there is no worries they Remove all trackers and Analytics....
maybe or may not be but u are not alone using mods... people all over the world uses and no worries about privacy....

And Analytics only can collect search history, loc, device id, ip, ver of app u installed, bug reports, ads, etc...
no worries in such apps...
