PERMISSIONS:
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: to save the Neutron database in /Android/data/com.neutroncode.mp folder.
- READ_PHONE_STATE: to auto-stop music playback when phone starts ringing.
- GET_ACCOUNTS: to generate unique hardware/account key for the Licensing and Trial expiration. This information will be auto-deleted from the Licensing server in 1 month time.
- INTERNET: for the audio streaming feature of Neutron.
- WRITE_SETTINGS: for ringtone.

In USB No DEF version, the system does not ask for permission to access the USB DAC by default.

This app has 5-day trial. I open and use it, then quit, adjust system date to 1 month later. Reopen this app, trial expired.

Finally a patched release of this app NMP that really works for us non-rooted users. Congratulations Nocna Furia to you and to those who helped you (if any) and a big THANKS. I'm a little late here on comments because I wanted to test NMP for at least a week to make sure it's not a trial version. My device is on Android 12, MIUI 14.0.10, v8a. For the last 4+ years I've tested many versions claimed to be patched for non-rooted devices but failed. This is the first ever I found that really works. The rule is that whenever we run patched apps that don't need internet connection to operate, is good to turn off internet connection in our devices when we use these apps, just in case. And remember to block the app to connect to internet from the settings of your devices, to prevent a license check and verification.
Please Nocna Furia keep this app updated if it is no trouble for you. I saw a new version is out already but there is no rush for me, I'm OK with this patched version of yours. Thanx again.

PS: This is my very first comment on Mobilism although I use this site for about 8 years. I felt the need to comment now and say thanx to Nocna Furia, not that other major releasers don't worth many thanx but NMP has a first here..

Thanks for the mod. I also get the trial period popup after the trial is finished. Deleting the appdata allows it to run again for a bit before the trial popup comes up again.

Worked fine at first. Keeps closing by itself whenever you press anything, looks like some anti piracy measure.

What are the other alteratinves to poweramp?
