No, you can just use any email to create an account and you are good to go. I would not suggest using your gmail account, just in case. I use a Yahoo email for this stuff.

In lollipop 5.0.1 nexus 7, it wont install.

It runs on my S5, but every time I click on _anything_, it says it force closes, but stays open - very strange behavior... Downgraded to 12.9.2 until a proper release.

I guess finally nobody has been able to crack it.

Works fine on ASUS Memo Pad 7 with Intel Atom Z3745 CPU. Hope that helps someone. And thanks.
