A partial downloaded apk generally cause such errors..

If ur looking 4 directly playing of songs then it want work bcz app encrypts downloaded song..

It does not plays on player but if you copy to PC and MPC can play it though mediainfo does shows anything about the file.

No the app is fine I tried it on s2 it works fine there. But on my non rooted Moto g it says app not installed and if I install from play store and then install this modified apk it said signature is different and not get installed

You can actually play these songs on any player. Just start the downloaded song in the saavn app and pause it and go to the android data folder of this app, there you will find curr.mp3
. Just copy it and play on any player
