I went back and tried a fresh install after uninstalling the previous copy and everything is working fine.

Easy to fix.


Just uninstall the old app. Install the new app, makeup a new login and you should be good to go.


The login email doesn't need to be anything real and seems to mean nothing in the end.

Sorry to hear that. It worked for me.


I don't think you can reuse an email and password, meaning you have to make up a new one. Did you do that?


If you can't find a solution just go back to the prior version of the app. It's almost the same thing.

Not sure if Gapps could have anything to do with it.


One thing I don't think you've tried is installing the old app, getting it working, then uninstalling it. Next, install the new app with a new name and pass.


Not sure if I'm being clear but when this happened to me I think I went through this process:

(1) Installed new app over the old app and got the same error as you.

(2) I uninstalled the new app and I went back to the old app, got it working.

(3) Then, at some point, I completely uninstalled the old working app.

(4) I successfully installed the new app with a new name and password.

I have no luck, even the old apps are not working. But I really thanks for your support. May the next versions have luck on me.
