Also requesting the v1.12.12 Boost patch when you have the time, @Balatan! It fixes the Navigation bar disappearing on scroll and some minor QoL things. I tested v1.12.11 (this patch) with a personal API key & ReVanced Manager and the app works flawlessly, so it's still worth updating!!

But the 3rd party apps wont show anything that's nsfw, Irrespective of whether it's actually nsfw right? Reddit really does suck.

There is a workaround for NSFW content - create your own subreddit and set it private. Moderators of any subreddit can freely view NSFW across the site because there are circumstances where that is necessary for moderation.
