ReVanced Manager will ask you to provide your own OAuth Client ID during patching Sync for Reddit apk. You can get it by creating your own application in reddit settings (instructions are provided). Free tier API usage allows for 100 requests/minute, you won`t reach this number if you`re using you own API key alone, but in case Derrin or another modder provides his own key for you and everyone else to use, it will reach the limits in no time, so.. patching it yourself (using your own api key as client ID) is the only option =)

I have never done this patching thing, which apps do I need and also do I need to be rooted? I am familiar with all these things but unfamiliar with the process and apps needed, I was already using Sync for reddit downloaded from Mobilism, if it`s not too much could you list the apps I need please?

There's a very detailed guide available here.
You will need only 2 apps:
1. The Reddit client (Reddit/Boost/RiF etc.) for which the links are provided.
2. The ReVanced Manager, links in the doc.
Once you download these two, follow the remaining instructions in the guide and you'll be good to go!
You don't need root access, and you'll be using the unmodified app in the process.

Perfect. I was able to patch mine successfully. Realy for Reddit is not available with patches? I do have have the paid app but not sure for how long it will last. Can I patch the apk of paid version which is already ad free?
