Not a standalone. To be read after The Dominator
Although this takes place between books 1 & 2, it's best experienced after book 3 as there is some overlap and potential spoilers for those who haven't already read all three books.
Rule 2: She needs to keep her mouth shut and reveal nothing to anyone about him. He soon reveals rule #3 to her and begins to reveal his dark and depraved sexual side. Tia has to obey in order to survive. Will it break her? Tommy Ferrano never wanted a wife, never even wanted a girlfriend. Women were just a means to an end, a sexual end. Women were always happy to oblige, sometimes so eager to oblige that he had to go over the edge of consent to get what he really wanted, fear then submission. Tommy needs to get married to get control over something he’s worked very hard for. His father has a specific girl in mind and Tommy isn’t sure why her but the idea of owning a woman wakes up deeper, darker urges in him than ever. The minute he sets eyes on Tia O’Connor he feels something inside of him shift, change. And as he gets to know her, he starts to change even further. But what’s his father’s motivation for picking this girl? What’s his father hiding?
Truth or Dare (#2): Dare wants his own happily ever after. But after Dare comes home from his brother's wedding and celebrates his 25th birthday he gets a posthumous gift from his father, one that'll change the course of his life. Before my father died he arranged for my brother to get married, gifted him with a girl. After I saw the impact of that girl on my brother’s life I joked with him that I wanted a mail-order bride for my upcoming birthday, joked about it with emotions about my now sister-in-law that I should not EVER have been feeling. My father joked back that he was already shopping around and would find me a perfect fit. At least I’d thought he’d been joking. But when I got home from my brother’s wedding I found out that before Pop died he had gotten that ball rolling. He’d gotten things rolling in a way that could not be stopped and that was going to be a problem. A messy problem. See, my Pop was deeply involved in a human trafficking ring, one of the many involvements he’d neglected to tell me and my brother about as he prepared us to take over the family business. We never knew that what he’d had in mind for us was just the top skim off a cesspool of filth he’d been too happy to be wading in. We had suspicions but we had no clue just how filthy it truly was.
Unbound (#3): The search for a missing girl… The opening of a Vegas fetish club with an enemy breathing down your neck… Being forced, by the Feds, to help take down a human trafficking crime ring…
Tommy: Accomplishing all of the above while fighting your dark and taunting demons and struggling with the notion of becoming a father.
Dare: Accomplishing all this finding out you have to take your new wife back to the place you rescued her from. A place where she was systematically broken over a period of 19 days and then sexually enslaved for 2 years. Tessa vanishes! Dare and Tommy have to get Tessa back and make the person responsible pay and they also need to rescue Holly, who is believed to be in the clutches of Alessandro Romero, nephew of the deceased Juan Carlos Castillo, who has multiple reasons to have beefs with the Ferrano boys.
Follow Tommy and Tia to Vegas for the opening of Fete, a Vegas fetish club. How will Tia feel about going to Vegas again, a place that nearly broke her. And be a fly on the wall when Dare and Angel go back to Thailand, to the place that broke Angel, WIRED for the Feds. SO much happens in this book.
