Domestic Discipline Quartet by Golden Angel (Books #1-4)

Overview: I have been writing, on and off, for Literotica.com as "goldeniangel" for years, but have recently started making some exclusive content available for Kindle. Two of my favorite eBook erotica writers are Cherise Sinclair and Lexi Blake. My favorite romance writer is probably Stephanie Laurens, although I'm also extremely partial to the Darkfever series by Karen Marie Moning (Omg... Jericho Barrons please... take me now!)
While I obviously love to read romance/erotica that has some adventure / danger to it, I find that when I write I prefer to focus more on the relationships and having them develop the way they would in the real world. Yeah, sometimes there's a little fantasy involved, but mostly I want to play with the interactions between people because I think there's enough drama in romance without adding in some kind of life threatening danger and/or bad guy. It's really hard to do that well, although the authors I mentioned in the previous paragraph handle it with panache. One day I'll write something with a bad guy and some adventure, but for now I'm really enjoying just writing about relationships as they might actually happen in a normal, day to day life with all the drama, conflict and issues that come along with that.
Genre: Erotic Historical Romance

Birching His Bride
Edwin Villiers, Lord Hyde and only child of the Earl of Clarendon, didn't realize that women were also sometimes disciplined with the birch until the day he was invited by his friend Hugh Stanley, Viscount Petersham and son of the Earl of Harrington, to witness the disciplining of Hugh's sister Eleanor. While he'd known Eleanor as a young girl, she had grown up to a beautiful but spoiled young woman who, even at the age of 18, wasn't quite ready to make her debut. After being overly indulged by her mother for years her father Lord Harrington has realized that he must take her in hand or risk her ruining the family's reputation with her willful ways once she's out in Society.
While watching the young lady receive a bare bottom birching, Edwin finds himself having a reaction he'd never expected - a shocking arousal that awakens a new array of sensual desires in him. When Eleanor appears in Society a year later, having learned to pretend to the demure manners her father demands, Edwin starts to think about leaving his bachelor days behind and securing Eleanor as his wife. He knows that a sweet and generous person lurks beneath the spoiled manner she's adopted in recent years, and he's not at all adverse to administering the necessary punishments to bring back the Eleanor he once knew.
When Eleanor enters the marriage mart she already knows exactly what she's looking for: someone who will love her more than she loves him. After watching her parents' marriage she's seen the power her father wields over her mother, who is worshipfully in love with him. Eleanor wants the jewels, the silks, the dresses, and she absolutely does not want to lose her heart. The man she's looking for is kind, indulgent and will never threaten her emotional happiness. He's certainly nothing like her brother's rather rakish and dangerously handsome friend Lord Hyde, even if the man does make her feel strange yearnings that she's never experienced before.
Unfortunately her father has little trust in his daughter's supposed reformation, especially after her behavior at her come-out ball when he sees the men she's chosen to attract - and her tactics for doing so. Sure that Eleanor is on the way towards ruining her reputation as well as the family's, her father marries her off to the overbearing and far-to-attractive Lord Hyde within the first week of her Season.
Never at a loss for long, Eleanor soon comes up with a plan that will make her a constant thorn in her husband's side until he's all too happy to allow her to live separately from him and manage her own life. Unfortunately for her, Edwin is just as determined to see his spoiled bride tamed and she finds his methods of discipline as disturbingly arousing as they are painful.
This book is contains graphic depictions of hot sex, consensual and nonconsensual spankings and birchings, and Victorian domestic discipline. If any of these things are offensive to you it is suggested that you do not download this book.
Dealing With Discipline
Eleanor Villiers, now Lady Hyde and originally a reluctant wife to Lord Edwin, has realized that she has fallen in love with her husband without the reassurance that he loves her back. It's literally the very situation she'd wanted to avoid by marrying a man who loved her more than she loved him, so that she wouldn't turn into the miserable, neglected wife that her mother was. Being rather stubborn and spirited, Eleanor begins to try out various tactics to discover her husband's true feelings towards her, only to find that she knows very little about love. Unfortunately her antics somehow seem to constantly lead her into situations where disciplinary measures become necessary, and Edwin's spankings remain as exciting as they are painful.
Meanwhile, Irene has married Eleanor's brother Hugh Stanley, Viscount Petersham, even though she's in love with another man and has been since childhood. Her mother has reassured her that within the ton it is perfectly acceptable to marry one man and be another's mistress, as long as she gives her husband the requisite heirs. On their honeymoon to Hugh's estates, Irene finds her emotions becoming increasingly confused she becomes more and more fond of her husband - is it possible to love two men at once? Under his gentle care and approval (and away from the overbearing presence of her mother) her true self begins to emerge out in the countryside, unfortunately leading to some unsafe behavior on her part which requires Hugh's immediate attention. He never wanted a rebellious wife who would need constant discipline, but he doesn't hesitate to mete it out when necessary.
As the ladies struggle with their notions of love, the men struggle with the hot and cold temperaments of their wives, and all of them wonder if, and how, they can make their marriages work.
Be warned: This book contains explicit erotic scenes, some bondage and toys, quite a few spankings, and some seriously sexy alpha males who firmly believe in being the head of the household (as was the case during the Victorian time period).
Punishing His Ward
When Wesley Spencer, Earl of Spencer, arrives in Bath, his first encounter with his new ward is out in the street, when she's supposed to be in his mother's home, where she's indecently dressed (to his mind) and obviously rushing to get home. His mother's letters had prepared him for a hoyden, what they hadn't prepared him for was the astonishingly beautiful and sensual young woman who surprised every one of his expectations once he'd disciplined her.
Cynthia Bryant loves to be told what not to do, because it always gives her the best ideas for mischief. She knows better than to kiss rakes, flirt with gentleman, or touch herself between her legs (even in private), but she does all of those things anyway because they're so much fun. Unfortunately the Earl isn't quite as easily put off as his mother - it seems like he's always watching her - and Cynthia finds a whole new area of exploration when she has the most shocking reaction to his spankings. She's also delighted to meet his friends Lord and Lady Hyde.
While in Bath, Edwin and Eleanor find themselves reconnecting in a way they couldn't in London, and their relationship takes a gentler, warmer turn. Unfortunately Edwin still hasn't declared his feelings for her by the time she makes a life-altering discovery.
In London, Irene and Hugh have declared their love, but there's lingering tension with Lord Brooke, who seems to be on the verge of forcing a reconciliation with his estranged wife.
Claiming His Wife
Alex has made a lot of mistakes, but he is determined to reconcile with his estranged wife, Grace. He's willing to put their past problems where he thinks they belong - in the past - but insults and disrespect will be met with discipline. He's seen the marriages his friends have, and decided to take a page from their books. Unfortunately for him, Grace is not so willing to let go of past hurts, although she has no choice but to go with him when he basically kidnaps her and takes her to Bath. At least her friends are there for moral support, while she does her best to discover exactly why her husband is so intent on reconciliation rather than divorce.
Hugh and Irene are blissfully happy, having declared their love for each other, but they seem to be the only ones. Eleanor is pregnant and worried that her condition will mean the end of overt affection and desire from her husband - especially as he hasn't declared any kind of finer feelings for her. She thinks Edwin doesn't realize she's with child, and worries over how to prod a declaration from him. Meanwhile, everyone is gathered in Bath for Wesley's wedding to the brazen and rebellious Cynthia.
When these four women get together, it's no wonder that both trouble and bright red bottoms loom on the horizon. Each of their husbands is bound and determined to claim and tame his willful wife.
