Cherry Hill series by Dixie Lynn Dwyer (#1-20)
Requirements: .ePUB/.MOBI Reader, 45.2 MB
Overview: People seem to be more interested in my name than where I get my ideas for my stories from. So I might as well share the story behind my name with all my readers.
My momma was born and raised in New Orleans. At the age of twenty, she met and fell in love with an Irishman named Patrick Riley Dwyer. Needless to say, the family was a bit taken aback by this as they hoped she would marry a family friend. It was a modern day arranged marriage kind of thing and my momma downright refused.

A Place to Call Home (#1): Athena is in hiding and will do whatever is necessary to be free. No one can be trusted. Not even the good-looking local sheriff.
Battered, abused, forced to live as a prisoner after her father double-crosses some business man, her future looked grim until she decided there was no one to save her but herself. She was willing to die for freedom and never once thought by running would she wind up in a place like Cherry Hill, Texas. The local sheriff, Kane McCabe and his three brothers aren't exactly buying her story. Culter runs a dojo, Chase and Fox are mercenaries, and they know when someone is in trouble and lying to survive. They do their best to convince Athena to trust them before it's too late.

Athena never knew love before, she feared intimacy and letting down that guard. The McCabe brothers prove to her that love is real, and they can make a safe and loving home in Cherry Hill, only if they eliminate the real threat and save her and their future together.

Finding Happiness (#2): Autumn wants to put the past behind her and finally focus on what she wants and needs in life. There's a lot to unlearn, and to forget in order for her to be free and find happiness once and for all. Coming to the town of Cherry Hill wasn't what she expected. Not the support, the caring, empathetic community, or the men who respect women, and protect them twenty-four seven.

She witnesses firsthand their support and protection and soon comes to realize that true love doesn't come with fists and pain, but with desire, trust, and a love so deep there are no guidelines, just letting go and giving in, making good things happen, and set her free.
She has her reservations and deals with the flashbacks from her past despite them coming back to haunt and destroy her new life. She fights for her men, for the love she feels, because of them she is stronger, and loving them has brought her a happiness that no evil will ever take away.

Starting Over (#3): Adalee Scope was a detective in the NYPD until she was shot in the line of duty. Working a desk job after losing four fellow cops, including her partner, was weighing its toll on her emotionally. Heading to her mom's new life in Cherry, Hill Texas, seemed like her only option or at least a stepping stone to a new start. It isn't easy to start over, to deal with her PTSD, or to accept the rules and regulations of a new town with some pretty interesting types of relationships. Soon enough she's caught the eyes of many men, but it's four particular brothers who turn out to have more in common with her than they all think, and who also show her that being vulnerable allows good things to happen, even love.

When unexpected danger threatens to destroy that love, Adalee is faced with a life threatening encounter, and despite being injured, she's still a tough, determined cop who will not succumb to evil, and who will do whatever it takes to get free or die trying.

Love Heals (#4): Charlie can be stubborn when it comes to helping others even if it means a little danger. When it comes to her own love life, and four men she is attracted to, she lets the past get in the way and the fears she needs to let go to move on and be healthy. Taking her own advice is harder than she thought. As a therapist she helps people to make the right decisions and even take some risks with vulnerability. So why is it so hard for her to do the same? After being betrayed by the one and only man she loved, she definitely is intimidated by the four older Mullen brothers. Retired soldiers and a local sheriff, their attitudes alone scare people away. They are everything she fears, yet everything she desires. She just needs to let go and take that chance.
As she takes a risk and falls in love, everything in her life and theirs is falling into place, but the world doesn't revolve around them. There are bad people out there, and her profession and theirs place her right in the center of danger. She could lose it all or die trying not to.

Love Heals All Wounds (#5): Maya Hennesey has been fighting all her life to survive and to be free from fear and violence. Trust doesn't come easily, even with four sexy capable men who make her feel things she isn't ready for or needs right now in her screwed up life, but their kisses are to die for, their attraction so strong, so sincere, that they break down those walls and show her that love can heal all wounds. Even ones as deep as those she has. Just when happiness is at her fingertips, her bad luck as she likes to call it comes knocking at her door ready to destroy all she has achieved, including getting to love her four men and get her happy ever after. However, Maya isn't ready to give up the fight just yet. Her Marines have taught her well. Their love is so strong and empowering that she's ready to fight to the death, to make them proud and not live her final moments as a victim but instead as a a fighter, a soldier in battle just like them.

Love Shouldn't hurt (#6): Love shouldn't hurt, but that is exactly how Harper feels when it comes to her secret relationship with four sexy mercenaries. She loves them so much, but they insist on rules, for her to be a good soldier and be there for them when they come home between missions. She's losing her mind. It just isn't fair to love them so much, to give them so much, but have nothing to show for it but pain. Other soldiers like them claim guardianship of a woman, and even have families. Why can't they?

When she has an opportunity to explore old feelings for two other men, she decides to try and figure things out, but as soon as it gets a little intimate she puts on the breaks, feels guilty for loving her four mercenaries so much and she calls things off. When they find out they rage, but they admit to loving her, and worrying about her safety. They claim guardianship of her, and she's willing to be there no matter how long it takes between missions. What they never expect is by loving her, they've made her a target to an enemy they still hunt, and Harper may become the ultimate sacrifice

Love Will Find You (#7): York has her new life in Cherry Hill. She is focused on happiness and not dealing with the past or the abusive, negative childhood she had. It's all going well, until her mother calls, and her father is back to his old games. She only has Harper and Isla to confide in, and to top the chaos off, she is attempting to avoid an attraction to two deputies in town who aren't making it easy on her at all. Their make-out sessions have powerful, lasting effects. When their other two brothers, retired Marines, get a hold of her, it's near combustion and there is no way she can resist them. She had avoided them for so long out of guilt for the crimes she committed and got away with. When she finally confides in them, they are understanding and supportive. The past is the past, or so they thought. When she is forced to commit a crime again to save her friend Isla and her men, she never expects the double-crossing going on, or her father's ulterior motive. It costs her everything.

Rewards of Bravery (#8): Isla has overcome many dangers in her life. She's starting a new job, achieved her CPA, and is opening up her heart to two very intimidating men. Has her luck changed, or does danger have a way of finding her? When she was hired by the real estate firm she hadn't expected to discover that the last accountant was ripping the owners off. She reports her findings, an investigation is started, and she thinks her part is over. She is moving on with her personal life, letting down her guard, her heart and body to the four charismatic, commanding O'Rourke men. Her thoroughness as an accountant puts the one piece of evidence in her possession that could destroy everyone involved in the illegal operations but she doesn't even know she has it. There's a larger operation of criminal activity going on, and Isla winds up smack in the middle, just for doing the right thing. Rewards of bravery could be her final demise.

What Love Feels Like (#9): Jade escapes being sold by her father for a business deal. She meets a woman on a bus heading to Cherry Hill, and her life seems to be heading in a positive direction. She works hard, keeps to herself, struggles to not live on the streets, but this town is very special and it makes her feel safe from the dangers of her past and the men she is running from. When she takes a chance on opening up her heart she finally realizes what love really feels like. She's ready to give this a chance and believes her four men will protect her and love her like she never had before. Out of nowhere she is taken by men ready to complete the deal she escaped from, and Jade seems destined to lose everything.

When Does Life Begin? (#10): Caught in a web of lies, sold in a business deal by her own father, Isabella must fight to escape and start a new life. Thanks to the agent involved, she winds up in Cherry Hill, a town ready to welcome her with open arms and the opportunity to feel like she belongs. She's had it rough. Was forced to do things in order to survive, so when she falls in love with the four Jameson brothers, she is resistant, to say the least.
However, they are determined to show her what love is and promise protection and a new start. She is unaware of the fact that she has become a pawn in a game of lies, and once again is taken against her will. She isn't the same woman she was a year ago. She's a fighter, she's in love with four men she wants to get back to, and she's determined to start a new life with them in Cherry Hill. Their determination to rescue her is as strong as her determination to fight to live. She's ready for her new life to begin and to put all this danger behind her.

Pain Behind Beauty (#11): Shawna fights for a new life, but one poor decision based on guilt could take it all away from her. She took a chance and worked hard to be the top beautician in the salon in Cherry Hill. She has put the past behind her and is still trying to heal inside from her pain. It isn't easy, and the last thing she expects is to fall in love with her bosses sons. They are determined to show her that their love is real, that they would never abuse her, or put her down, and she takes a chance and finally feels love for the very first time. Her feeling of guilt about her mother makes her go see her once again. She just can't seem to hope one day her mom will leave the abusive environment like Shawna did. That decision takes a turn for the worse as she is thrown into a dangerous situation because of her family. She is taken away from her men, her life in Cherry Hill, and is now under the power and control of a monster who plans on killing her. She is injured and ready to give up when that desire to live, to see her men again and completely be free from her families problems makes her take one more chance and fight. She isn't going out like this, and not before she takes some of the bad guys with her.

What Love Sounds Like (#12): Ivy has had a thing for her brothers' best friends, the Shelton brothers, for quite some time. They admit they feel it, too, but so much is at risk. When she takes an opportunity to sing in a local dance hall, which has been a dream of hers, she never expects the attention she gets or the men that push to get her into bed. It sets the Shelton brothers in motion to take the risks and claim Ivy as their woman once and for all. But it seems like certain people are trying to tear them apart by making up lies, making them question their commitment to one another and loyalty, as well. When danger surrounds Ivy, and her friends and her life is on the line, Johnny, Bronc, Keller, and Angus remain by her side trying to protect her. They are happy and in love, and celebrating together when disaster strikes.

To Mend Fearful Hearts (#13): Cherise has loved with all her heart, and after the risk she took left her alone and betrayed she isn’t exactly ready to take a chance on a ménage again, and especially not with her best friend’s brothers. It hasn’t been easy to ignore the attraction and desires, even though the Waters brothers’ stand for everything she is afraid of and more. But now that Rome is back, retired from the military and ready to settle down, the only thing standing in the way are her fears of getting hurt again and becoming an object.
Plus, it doesn’t help that two of her ex-lovers return wanting to rekindle the past and keep that hold they’ve had on her for years despite the pain they caused her. She is trying to follow her heart but that doesn’t seem to matter when she’s pulled into a situation no one saw coming. Not her ex-lovers or her current ones. Will have the capabilities and resources to save her?

Some Kind of Wonderful (#14): C.C. is taking care of her cousin Elsie and Elsie's son, Aiden. She has a lot on her plate and has given up on true happiness and love. That some kind of wonderful that many of her friends have found, but not her. Getting involved with four soldiers isn't logical or smart, especially after nearly becoming a victim of a gang rape by her ex-boyfriend and his fellow soldier friends. Trust issues galore, a debt owed to the man who saved her cousins' life, and all that lays in her future is work, work, work.
However, Birdie, Freddie, Conan, and Axel, all soldiers, all hardcore men, trying to adapt to civilian life and finally settle down, aren't taking no for an answer. C.C.'s kisses are too sweet, her femininity and personality too hard to resist, and they want it all with her. When they finally break those walls down, the man she owes a debt to reveals his true intentions, and now C.C. feels forced to comply in order to save her lovers as well as Elsie and Aiden.

A Love to Kill For (#15): Emerson was forced by her ex to leave Cherry Hill a year ago. She learned the hard way that he didn't love her, and really didn't have good intentions. This is her new start. She's a lot wiser, and a bit more cautious when it comes to men. That is until she meets two men separately and feels an attraction. She's resistant, of course, but as she rents a cottage from one of the men, and soon meets his brothers, she realized they are all related and represent everything she fears. They're hardcore, had commanding attitudes and are soldiers. Can she take a chance to trust them when they're similar to her ex?
They break down her defenses. She confides in them about her ex and his betrayal, and they share their fears, as well. These are real men. Capable, seasoned, sexy, and experienced, and when she's with them, she is safe and well loved. So when one of her new lovers is involved in a case and her ex is being investigated, some friction starts. Add in a serial rapist out for the one he desires and there's a whole lot of danger brewing, and one individual ready to kill for love.

Spies Don't Fall in Love (#16): Genesis was a spy, and now she is trying to live a normal life and put the past behind her.
She doesn't trust easily, and surely isn't ready to fall in love like most of her new friends are doing.
She's fine with that and used to being alone.
So when she meets four soldiers who make her feel things she never felt before, she's pretty resistant but willing to have some fun.
With no strings attached, it makes for some hot and heavy encounters, and she's game. But the more time they spend together, the more they want from her and she wants, too. Being in a ménage changes her perspective on life and love, and she's willing to let down that guard and let them in. But her secret past must remain just that, a secret. So when their lives are in jeopardy while on a mission, she uses her connections to save them and it costs her everything.
In saving her men it makes her become a bargaining tool as she is sold to the man who once held her captive for information on terrorist leaders to help with an election. As she suffers the wrath of her greatest enemy, her lovers rummage through the information thinking the worst, until the true revelation of her disappearance is exposed. Now her soldiers must rescue her before it's too late.

Have a Little Faith (#17):Faith has pretty much given up on true love and even Cherry Hill. She is about to head back home when she meets and falls in love with Louis, Voight, Worin, and Hunt.
Four older soldiers with PTSD and attitudes. They realize that she is pretty special and no other woman gets to them as Faith does. Faith wonders if they're worth the risk and if they're ready to commit, despite their bad attitudes and commanding ways. A few kisses and some wild make-out sessions convince them all to take a chance.
Her friend is looking for love in all the wrong places and winds up putting Faith in danger. Faith is smart enough to get away and heads right to her men's arms.
The only problem now is she's gained the interest of some men who want to do her harm and failed at the first attempt. They don't intend to fail now, but even battered bruised and ready to pass out, Faith fights for her life and gives her men the time they need to rescue her before it's too late.

Nothing But a Heartache (#18): Leeann knows nothing but heartache, and specifically from men in her life including her own father. She's been used, abused, and made to feel worthless and unwanted. Instead of giving up on life, she fought hard to get where she is today. Independent and surviving.
So when she meets four older soldiers with bad attitudes and on the verge of destruction, she won't risk a broken heart times four or to wind up a punching bag, and worse, used goods. However these men are just as affected by her, and together they realize this bond is something special. With a bit of persuasion it becomes too difficult to push them away, and she takes one final chance on true love, ménage style. Leeann is making major changes in her life, returning to being a therapist like she loved before and starting this relationship with the men, when her estranged father contacts her. It's been six years and he reveals a lie he thought was true and apologizes for the wrong he did. Life seems perfect, and she is finally happy, until she is abducted for ransom, and it will take her father and her men to find her and destroy those responsible before it's too late.

For the Love of Soldiers (#19): Elaina and Alana are twins, abducted at nineteen all because of a mission their father, a soldier, had completed. They gave up on ever being rescued.
Then one night their father arrives and they are more than ready to fight to be free. He is killed and they are left to fend for themselves until soldiers arrive to rescue them. Her sister is shot and needs immediate medical attention and the only choice is to separate them. As they all become the hunted, Elaina uses her skills and fights beside the soldiers gaining their respect and their attention. They will remain by her side until she and her sister can meet again and be sure they are truly free.
Just as they think they are in the clear, the soldiers must go on a mission to resolve the problems and stop illegal activities. Elaina is abducted once again, and they will do whatever is necessary to save the woman they love.

For the Love of Soldiers (#20): Alana isn't quite free from the man who stole five years of her life from her. She lives in fear every day despite the soldiers who promise her love and protection. Her twin is moving on, falling in love with the four soldiers who also rescued her and protected her. So why can't Alana let it go and give these men a chance to prove they are real and that they truly love her? The nightmares rule her sleep. Fear and flashbacks of the abuse and misery she went through make her hold back. How can she just move on and accept their love, and their desire when all she feels is broken. When will Alana finally be free?
She said that if Lumar caught her she would be forced to take her own life instead of submitting to the pain and the punishments ever again, but falling in love with her four soldiers has changed her. She isn't the weak, scared, abused woman, but instead an empowered one with the love of four charismatic soldiers. Alana will do whatever it takes to get back to them or die trying so they know she fought to the end.
