Faerie Series by Mercedes Jade (Books #2-2.5)

Overview: I've drank cafe sua dau on a Saigon street. I believe in rescuing kitties from trees and just because. The binary system is a language and I remember the first thing I ever cooked in a microwave (hotdog) and when I was the only girl in a classroom full of boys and noisy computers and it wasn't no typing class. I heal people and soothe souls for those that can't be cured. Lastly, I love to imagine, daydream and hope.

Falling Into Faerie After (#2)
Never stop running.
Well, I had taken my mother's advice. It hurt me as much as I had the Dark Fae prince hunting me when I pierced his black heart to escape. The bleeding consequences left me wounded.
The Wild Hunt was only a beginning. I have a Faerie Tale to make come true with the sand-glass turned against me. Training my new talents and thawing my frozen magic is more than a desperate distraction. My starry wish is to find my Faerie father. He might be able to save my dying mother from the fate he had abandoned her, our last light in a dark ending.
Hard-earned Marks have helped prepare me for the quest ahead. Eloden's quick glamour to hide. A scary smile with the promise of teeth from Falin. Elven aim revealed by Aeric. Kheelan's silver tongue to tell a Fae truth as well as a lie and the knowledge imparted by Orin to help me decide which one will serve me better. Even my short acquaintance with Loren showed me the strength in a healing touch.
Dain told me to dream, though I cannot yet risk believing.
If only I hadn't left behind a part of myself when I tore out of Faerie. Darkness is chasing me and hell isn't known for releasing the souls of the damned once Claimed.
Wild Ride (#2.5)
Eve wants to have a nice, normal Halloween to make up for all the magic and mayhem brought on by her Fae Marks. There are pumpkins to carve without making them come to life, costumes to pick out that aren’t from the adult dress-up store, and a surprise that her Marks have told her will have to wait until midnight.
Enjoy the little monsters meeting the real ones and a sweet, sassy time for Eve once all the candy is handed out.
Wild Ride is a standalone Halloween themed short with plenty of steam for readers of the Faerie Series. It is not meant to be read separate from the series as it is too short for a proper introduction of all the characters and their relationships. As well, it is considered ‘non-canon’ meaning the events in this story do not take place in the main story-line of the series.
