Overview: Hello world. I'm Nick Von, at least most of the time. When I am, I tend to write stories that are dark yet comical, deep yet shallow, human but sometimes animalistic, full of love but feathered with hate, grounded but dreaming. I often tell folks as a child I was weened on Star Wars yet raised on Trek, popped curbs on my BMX at day and rolled the dice on my dungeon crawl at night. I've been fascinated with stories and story telling for as long as I can remember and figured it's time I do something about it. I live in Texas, own no pets, believe in God, love my family, celebrate life with my friends. When I'm not Nick Von, well, that's a different conversation.

1. Ace in the Holes
Meet Ace—professional gambler, pistoleer, and the wild west’s baddest good guy—as he exacts revenge against the people who left him for dead in the Arizona desert. Navigating a Steampunk world filled with mages, magic and new-fangled machinery, he finds himself embroiled in America’s first major conspiracy group. They’re attempting to overthrow the U.S. government from the shadows, culminating into a showdown at the Nadona Poker Tournament between the Order of the Unseen and the red-blooded Texas boy determined to stand in their way. But that’s okay. On his side is the affections of a sexy new crew of ladies, each capable of wielding their own powers of vengeance and doom. So, needless to say, there’s lots of gun play, card play and foreplay.
2. Deuces Gone Wild
What if the world becomes a bleak, dystopic cesspool in the near future and your only hope of saving it was a time-shifting woman? An exotic virgin called the Deuce capable of rearranging the timeline through her carnal powers, trapped in an ivory tower? Would you save her? Ace would. Especially now that the evil Mr. Drexler has taken the future in his own hands and the whole world sits in the balance. It won’t be easy with a whole city full of evil bastards in the way, but with his harem of Queens at hand wielding their own powers of destruction, Ace will stop at nothing to save the Deuce and set the timeline right. Even if it means avoiding paradoxes, facing the infamous “Infinitum Anomaly,” and, well… taking her virginity. Hey, for a gambling Texas boy it’s just another day at the table… until existence gets erased.
