Michelle at the bar poured two glasses and I followed Ginny to a quieter corner where she reached out for her glass - our fingers touched and I felt a spark of recognition.
Ginny clinked, her glass against mine and said, "To first meetings!"
We each took a sip of our drinks - I wanted to down mine in one for Dutch courage, but that would hardly be lady-like now, would it? Trying to avert my eyes from her stare that appeared to be able to see right through me, I glanced down at her pretty blouse - it was translucent and I could detect the lace of her bra beneath, her breasts bulging slightly inside. They looked very real to me and my flat chest suddenly felt woefully inadequate, even though I had gathered up what spare flesh I had inside my own bra-cups.
Ginny spoke again, "Why did you want to keep a clear head? Frightened of what you might do under the influence?"
She had me dead-to-rights and she knew it, but I still tried to protest,
"No, well maybe - this is my first time at such an event. I wanted to suss out the room before I started letting myself go!"
