Overview: The Submerged continent is none but "The continent", a huge land mass, existed in the Indian Ocean, got destruction, during 18000-12000 B.C by the great deluge. The ancient Tamil literatures tell about the existence of the land and say that it was the homeland of the Tamils. A century ago, there were numerous ideological clashes on the motherland of the Tamils, who were said to be the migrants from the Middle East. The Jewish, Islamic and sumerian literatures vividly tell about the great flood. In the past, they are considered as the mythological stories, having no historical proofs. But modern researches confirm the deluge through geological, oceanological and historical findings. An urban settlement, within the radius of 5 kms., was found in the Bay of Bengal, near the eastern coast of southern Tamilnadu, in 2000 A.D. This settlement was in existence and destructed around 11500 B.C.and it was confirmed through radio carbon 14 method, by the eminent archaeologist Glenn Milne of England. Through the collections of ancient and modern facts and proofs, this book is making an attempt to prove the existence of "The Kumari Continent", was the homeland of the ancient Tamils.
