Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I have an issue with private messaging ; I am unable to see the message content of new incoming pms , only way to see it is by selecting 'print mode' ( am unable to reply in that mode).

I am able to see replies to pms that I sent out.

Is this a settings issue or something in my browser/pc ?

Not sure what you mean by 'standard' view but this is what comes up when I select the pm that you sent me . Only way to see content is by selecting 'print view' .

I suspect thatthe problem started a few weeks ago when someone sent me a pm and deleted it before it was delivered . I received a pm notification but there was no message . I eventualy deleted it ( the header ?)

Help Anybody ever visit these dungens ?

It's not the end of the world - I do have a workaround ( have to send a new pm as opposed to replying). I'm sure that Disk4mat will eventually get around to it .

My guess is that it's some very odd adblock that thinks the PM's text contains ads.

One of the first things I tried was disabling adblock . I'll try again but this time will restart my browser.

Adblock wasn't the problem but your suggestion got me thinking . I am also running Ad Muncher - it was the culprit . I put in a new rule for mobilism and my pms are being displayed as they should be.

Somehow my browsing history on Mobilism got reset. You know how a link changes color after you visit it. A couple of days ago, all of the links I had previously visited returned to that previous color. I depend on this color change to keep track of what postings I have viewed. Do you know why this happened? It only happened with Mobilism, so I don't think it's a PC error.

I believe that your browsing 'history' is tied to your ip address. As long as it remains unchanged ( either you are using a static ip , have reserved an same ip on the router for your pc , have not rebooted router/pc in a while or the router has been assigning the same one) the site 'recognizes' and displayes the threads accordingly.
It might also be linked to your cookies . Have you done any housekeeping recently ?
