I notice that once in a while when I try to download a book, instead of it downloading an epub or mobi version, it downloads a "file" which I can't do anything with. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, what did you do?

Thanks!

Usually this means that the OP inadvertently left some sort of punctuation in the filename like an apostrophe. All you have to do is add a file extension before saving the file. In the vast majority of cases I've discovered that the extension is .epub but on rare occasions that doesn't work and you'll want to try .rar or .zip instead.
