If you would actually share the information on how to grab the IPKs, they could be in that form. You've already mentioned this several times and have been asked several times how to do it.

I offered how to create a IPK and to TEACH anyone on IRC, you can grab the IPK by going to your /media/internal/downloads and doing a its either "find -mmin -1" "find -mmin 1" to show the most recent modified file in the past "1" minute. The files are hidden while they are downloading.

SO in a nutshell. Uninstall Game, open up App Catalog, start a application download, go to your /media/internal/download folder and then rename the corresponding file so that its not removed when its finished downloading. use the "mv" command to rename in terminal. "mv .com.ea.app.nfsuc_20.0.28_all.ipk dont_delete_me_after_download.ipk" while its downloading. It will say Install or Download Failed once it goes to the next step. ignore it. Enjoy your original IPK!

:) The files don't show during the download process becuase of the preceeding "." highlighted in red.

Remember thoe, till webos quick install updates there install method [due to size of these ipks] you cannot installed these "reliably" with that application, I posted the method for installing a ipk in a early post. I perfer the terminal way anyways.

Go to your terminal application and navigate to the /media/internal/downloads folder.

Start your app catalog and proceed to download the app (remember once the install is completed it will remove the ipk. So if its a small app you have to be quick.

Start the download of your application ie; brothers in arms.

While in the /media/internal/downloads folder, type "find -mmin 1" or "find -mmin -1" till you get a result, which likly will be 1 line and that line will be your ipk. You can't just use the folder name becuase the ipk file name is unique, it will usually have a version number, that is why we have to find out what it is first.

But the reason the file won't show up when you do a "ls" inside the /media/internal/downloads is becuase it has a preceeding period in the file name hiding it from eyes, hence when you see the results show up from find.

So you will see somthing like ".com.gameloft.app.brothersinarms_whateverversion.ipk".

You now need to rename the file so that your app catalog doesn't delete the file.

"mv .com.gameloft.app.brothersinarms_whateverversion.ipk my_new_file_name.ipk"

See the difference now, no period! So now it will show up in /media/internal/downloads regardless, and you can do as you please with it.

ie: connect your phone in usb mode, navigate in windows do the downloads folder, and copy it to your pc.

With these larger games, its easy to do this, smaller apps you have to be ready to rename it quickly immedtially when it starts downloading. Becuase once the app is installed it deletes the original ipk for space reasons obviously.
