This is a bit long.
So. For a while I really loathed the Tusfiles site for downloads. It had become really obnoxious due to all the popups and videos and ads and it wouldn't let you download if you had Adblock/Flashblock running. I wouldn't have minded not being able to block the ads if it weren't for the videos popping up, that was sort of the final straw y'know? I even keep Adblock off for certain sites because I know they're revenue supported and they aren't too badly cluttered with ads, but I really hate videos like that (they're always louder than everything else), so I really hated Tusfiles.
Unfortunately, I've come to realize that all of that is far preferable to these sites that make you wait 2-3 hours between downloads (Nitroflare, Rapidgator, Uploaded, etc) even if there are no ads on those that can't be blocked.
Basically, if there's more than 2 or 3 things you want to download in a day and they're on these sites, you have to set a timer and keep coming back, really pay attention to the downloads. Rapidgator doesn't even work half the time (just flat out won't allow me to download the file, no reason why - I have an account and it won't even work if I log in, for some files it works and for others it doesn't), and whatever the stated time between downloads, you can double it at least, Rapidgator sometimes makes me wait 8 or more hours from one download to another.
Even if more than one source is posted, if both sources are 3 hour waits it still takes all day if you want more than a couple of files. If one of them is Rapidgator it may as well only be one source, because there's no guarantee you'll be able to get anything there.
So now I have a request. Could we please, please, PLEASE prefer sites with no wait between downloads (or a very short wait, 15 minutes or less)? Tusfiles, Zippyshare, Solidfiles, Shantibit, Uploadrocket, etc, etc. There are loads of them. I know sites like Uploaded and Nitroflare are probably better for large files, and if they were reserved for that it would be okay, but most ebooks are small files. There's no reason we should have to wait 3 hours between small files.
I wouldn't mind if it were only one or two downloads at those sites, but it's getting so almost everything I want is at Nitroflare and Rapidgator, which means mostly just Nitroflare because getting anything from Rapidgator is a crapshoot. So I have to keep stopping what I'm doing and coming back all day to get half a dozen books.
In any case, sorry this is so long - I wanted you to understand the reasoning behind the request. Thank you so much for this site.
ETA: And it's not just here. I'm seeing this at other ebook sites and forums, the same download sites are being used. So even if I only want one thing here, between this and two other sites all using Nitroflare, Rapidgator, and Uploaded, it's taking all day to get 6 or 7 little files.
