Hi all,
I saw an ebook request for a book made by someone else, and I made a comment on the thread, a simple :
"somebody? anybody? :D" because I also wanted to read the book, but I made no mention that I will also be adding extra WRZs for the ebook.
Later on the request was fullfilled, the original user who made the request paid the WRZs, and then an ebook moderator user removed from me also 10WRZs and sent an email :
"zackddog wrote:
Reward fpr Consumed (Deep In Your Veins #4) by Suzanne Wright paid to iheartbooks77
Next time that you fail to pay a reward on time there will be a penalty equal to the reward amount . "

Sooooo whaaaaat? And why?
You are not allowed to make comments on threads? Or if you do you loose WRZs?
I don't understand,
somebody please explain!

And thank you :)

The relevant rule can be found here, dear:

How to post a request (RULES)

  • Bumping somebody else's request commits you to donate an additional reward of at least the minimum amount - 10 WRZ$. A larger amount can be offered, if you so desire.

The comments you made were tantamount to a bump. Ergo, you had to pay up. :)

General commentary about books is not allowed in Request threads. If you would like to discuss a certain book, it's best to start a topic for it in the General Discussion forum or another forum in the eBook Social Club.

And what if the bump was made before me?
And I did not make the bump for the request?
The rule only applies for the bump..., dear.

Hi Tymmmy!

Unfortunately in this instance Zack was correct to remove the WRZ$ from you.

A bump in ANY thread is considered ANY post within that thread from ANY user. Any post in a thread is called a bump as it effectively 'bumps' the post to the top of the request list (or any other forum list) which means that people browsing the threads will see any freshly 'bumped' threads before seeing anything else.

With that in mind, you posted in the thread. This means that you 'bumped' the thread and as such consented to pay a minimum of 10 WRZ$ if that book was provided.

I hope you understand now why the WRZ$ was removed and if you would like anything else explained please let us know.

Thanks!
