My thoughts and prayers go out to yourself, your family and all the Ukrainian people. I don't know how Vladimir Putin can sleep at night he is a monster, he can't even be classed as a man. My heart breaks when I see what he is doing to your beautiful country and I pray every day for all the Ukrainian people to be safe. May God bless you all and keep you safe.
A number of Ukrainian sellers on Etsy have pivoted to sell digital downloads. If you do embroidery, cross stitch etc, there are many Ukrainian sellers you can support. Ukrainian artists have images you can buy to download. Those unable to continue selling their usual goods are offering copies of drawings their children have done, praying for peace. These downloads range from a few dollars and up and help individuals and families.
Some Etsy sellers in Ukraine continue to trade in physical goods, though how they are managing I do not know. I ordered an item from a seller who had leather goods fully expecting to never see it. It took 10 days, but the tracking shows the postal service got it past a border. That is some impressive postal service.
I don’t understand how anyone or anything can continue to function in that nightmare, but they are. It feels like Ukraine is all that is keeping the monster out of other European countries and that is one hell of an ask.
