Galatea

In Ovid's narrative, Pygmalion was a Cypriot sculptor who carved a woman out of ivory. His statue was so beautiful and realistic that he fell in love with it. Pygmalion made offerings at the altar of Aphrodite, quietly wishing for a bride who would be "the living likeness of my ivory girl." When he returned home, he found that Aphrodite had granted Pygmalion's wish.

Pygmalion married Galatea the ivory sculpture changed to a woman under Aphrodite's blessing.

A few explanations:
1. (yousofine) Are you human? A Yes or No answer is debatable
Starting as a statue, she wasn't a real human, but in the end Galatea became a woman and had children with Pygmalion...
4. (greatest) Are you alive? A Yes or No answer is debatable
Not as a statue, and obviously not anymore today...
6. (Amill) Are you from a movie/TV series? A Yes or No answer is debatable
& 10. (Amill) Are you from a song? A Yes or No answer is debatable
Many evocations of Galatea were made through time in movies, series, opera, musicals and songs (see Wikipedia link), sometimes with a different name, as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady...
16. (Mickey101) Are you half human and something else? A Yes or No answer is debatable
Half human and ivory statue...
18. (yousofine) Are you a mythological creature? A Yes or No answer is debatable
On second thought, I should probably have answered Yes here. I just wasn't sure a statue counted as a creature...
39. (fathermucker) Is one of your parents a god/goddess/deity? A Yes or No answer is debatable
Though she wasn't really her mother, Aphrodite did give life to Galatea...

Congratulations Amill  and thank you all for playing! :D
