For our Saturday Crossover Daily Double we looked at two different sports and all we had to do was guess the winner in BOTH.

EVENT ONE - PREMIER LEAGUE

Watford/DRAW vs. Manchester United


The game ebbed and flowed until United found a breakthrough in the 35th minute...the ball brushed Lukaku’s torso and drifted past Ben Foster and in. Two minutes later, a second goal was delivered by Chris Smalling, who cushioned the ball on his chest before swivelling to slam the ball home.
During the 15-minute spell leading up to half-time Paul Pogba did his utmost to extend United’s lead with three dazzling attempts. Foster had to impress to keep the deficit at two. It was a huge test of Watford’s newly honed spirit. But their task was made even more complicated by United's attack in the second half. Pogba swaggered. Lukaku maintained a physical presence. Fellaini protected. Gray managed to score for Watford in the second half but the effort went in vain as Man Utd dominated this one.


EVENT TWO - COLLEGE FOOTBALL

USC vs. Texas


Texas needed a big win to get some heat off of coach Tom Herman's back. And a big win -- the 900th in the illustrious history of the program -- the Longhorns got in the form of a 37-14 beatdown of the No. 22 USC Trojans. 
The final score didn't reflect how tight things were for the first half. USC jumped out to a 14-3 lead after the first quarter but the Longhorns responded by chipping away at the lead and taking a 16-14 halftime advantage. 
That's when the floodgates opened. After scoring on its first offensive possession of the third quarter, Texas took a 50-yard blocked punt back for a touchdown to go up 30-13. Texas capped off the 21-point third quarter with a four-yard touchdown run by quarterback Sam Ehlinger.

Hamilton cruised to victory at the Singapore Grand Prix with a 9 second lead! The Mercedes racks up his fourth win at the Marina Bay circuit, with Hamilton extending his lead in the drivers’ championship to 40 points.

12 people correctly picked Hamilton to win. Congrats

CONTEST TWO - NASCAR gets underway in about 5 hours.

12 people will be vying for the bonus. Most have picked Kyle Busch to win with only three rooting for the favorite, Kevin Harvick.

For the Monday Contest, my Chicago Bears will host the Seattle Seahawks.
Since the Bears sucked soooooo bad last year, this will be the last time they are on a national TV game.
All future games will only be shown regionally... So, we have another edition of Monday Night Football OVER/UNDER

For those that don't remember, OVER/UNDER is a classic betting term. It's a bet that has nothing to do with who will win the game. Instead, you are betting on whether the TOTAL number of points (or goals, or runs, or whatever) scored by BOTH TEAMS will be OVER or UNDER a certain target number. So when you hear somebody say, "the over/under for this football game is 45.5, that means the target number is 45.5
Anybody betting the OVER is betting that a total of 46 or more points will be scored by both teams in the game
Anybody betting the UNDER is betting that a total of 45 or less points will be scored by both teams in the game

For this edition of OVER/UNDER, we will be asking you to make two predictions
First, you have to predict who will win the game
Second, you have to predict whether the total number of points scored by both teams will be OVER or UNDER the target number
To win your share of the pool, you have to correctly predict BOTH

Seattle Seahawks 39% at Chicago Bears 61%
Unlike most of the Bears games last year, the Bears are actually 3 point favorites against the Seahawks
The Bears lost a heart breaker last Sunday against their most bitter rivals, the Packers. After leading most of the game, they simply choked and lost in the end. Seattle also lost last week in a close one in Denver.
So both teams REALLY NEED this game to avoid starting the season 0 - 2
