For our Monday Underdogs edition, we looked at three NBA games that were total mismatches. All we had to do to win was predict how many of the underdogs (in bold and red) would win — 0, 1, 2, or 3.
GAME ONE
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New York Knicks
Paul George scored 31 points and Russell Westbrook just missed a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists as the Oklahoma Thunder defeated the New York Knicks 127-109
GAME TWO
Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a Martin Luther King Jr Day win over the Dallas Mavericks, for whom Luka Doncic recorded a triple-double.
GAME THREE
Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors were looking for redemption in their rematch against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night. The Warriors brought a seven-game winning streak into Monday's visit to the Lakers and they kept it up with a solid 130-111 win.
