For our Monday NBA Basketball edition we looked at two close games and all we had to do was guess correctly in both to win. The favorites are in bold and red.
GAME ONE
Golden State Warriors at Indiana Pacers
Stephen Curry scored 23 of his 26 points in the first half, DeMarcus Cousins added 22 and the Golden State Warriors extended the league's longest winning streak this season to 11 with a 132-100 rout of the Indiana Pacers on Monday night. Even at full strength, the Pacers had difficulty weathering the Warriors' flurry. Indiana never got closer than 16 after the first quarter.
GAME TWO
Brooklyn Nets at Boston Celtics
Celtics led 89-88 heading into the fourth quarter but they slowly built the lead to 12 over the next quarter thanks to a 13-2 run bookended by Brown. They came with a kick and it took a while for the Celtics to shake those cobwebs, but once they did they used a big fourth quarter to pull away for a 112-104 win.
