Just about a week ago, we ran a NHL Canada Vs. USA contest. Three American teams went North to Canada to try their luck... The odds were HEAVILY in the favor of Canada... and the Americans didn't do so well
It just so happens that on this Friday, three Canadian NHL teams will come South to play in America. Let's see if some home cooking can help the Americans this time
For this edition of
CANADA VS. USA we are asking you a very simple question... Which country will win the most games, Canada or USA?
INFORMATIONThis contest should be a little better balanced than past match ups.
One game heavily favors Canada, one game heavily favors the US, and one game should be a close one
GAME ONE
Ottawa Senators 35% at Pittsburgh Penguins 65%The 2nd place Penguins look pretty good in this one. The 8th place Senators aren't too good this year and have a 19-26-5 record. Pittsburgh is almost just the opposite with a 27-17-6 record, and are the home team
GAME TWO
Calagry Flames 53% at Washington Capitals 47%This will probably be the game that determines this contest. The Flames are in first place in the Western Pacific with a 33-13-5 record. The Capitals are in third place in the Eastern Metropolitan with a 27-17-6 record, but, they are at home.
This is probably the only game of the three worth watching
GAME THREE
Toronto Maple Leafs 68% at Detroit Red Wings 32%The old Toronto/Detroit Rivalry... and one would expect the Red Wings to go down in flames in this one. The Leafs are in 2nd place with a 30-17-2 record, while the Wings are in 7th place with a 19-25-7 record. Even some home cooking shouldn't be much help for Detroit
