SUPER BOWL SUNDAY IS HERE
It's time to reveal the Super Bowl Squares Grid



WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?
This will be the grid that determines who wins and who loses
The numbers on the left represent the potential last digit of the Los Angeles Rams' Score at the end of each quarter
The numbers on the top represent the potential last digit of the New England Patriots' Score at the end of each quarter
NOTE: the number represents the last digit, so a 7 = 7,17,27,37 and so on
If your name is in the box, you "own" that team/number combination

HOW MANY BOXES/SQUARES DO I HAVE?
Since we had 35 total players sign up...
Each player has 3 squares (3 sets of numbers)
Your 3 Sports Center Hosts and the Honest Bookie have only one square each
This brings us to 100 total squares

HOW DO I READ THIS?
Let's take a look at the upper left hand corner of the grid.
You will see "wellwhocares"
His Los Angeles row is number 2 and his New England column is number 6

HOW DO I WIN?
The score at the end of each quarter will produce three winning combinations:
-The actual score
-The reverse score
-The actual score +2 to each team
There will be a total of 12 winning combinations

HUH?
Here is an example on how to win
EXAMPLE SCORE AT THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER
LOS ANGELES 3 - NEW ENGLAND 7

FIRST WINNER - The actual score = jhj2040
If you go across the Los Angeles Row #3 until you get to the New England Column #7, you will see jhj2040

SECOND WINNER - The reverse score = pjmpjm
For this, you just reverse the teams score
If you go across the Los Angeles Row #7 until you get to the New England Column #3, you will see pjmpjm

THIRD WINNER - The actual score +2 to each team = irathomas
Since some number combinations simply suck, this is a way to improve your numbers. You just add two to each of the teams score. So, this LA 3 - NE 7 example score now becomes LA 5 - NE 9
If you go across the Los Angeles Row #5 until you get to the New England Column #9, you will see irathomas

This will be done at the end of each of the first three quarters and for the final score, giving us a total of 12 winners!

WHAT ARE THE PAYOUTS?

If the Honest Bookie should actually win some thing, his winnings will be put back in the pool and divided up and added to the other winners!

HOW DID I GET STUCK WITH THESE CRAPPY NUMBERS?
I randomly filled the names into the grid. After I had done so, Anna was kind of enough to generate two sets of random numbers from 0 - 9 to be used on the side and top of the grid. She sent me the numbers as I sent her the grid with the names filled in. I then applied the random numbers to the chart...
So, to answer the question, IT'S ALL RANDOM!

HORSE RACING – THE SPORT OF KINGS

Well now, it’s our sport as well. Trifecta means picking the top three horses in the exact order that they will finish.
So your job will be to pick 3 horses out of the 10 horses in the race and predict the exact order they will finish. Yeah, it sounds tough, and it is. But we will make it easy to win.
If the first horse you pick finishes in the top three, you will share the 500 WRZ$ pool
If two of your horses finish in the top 3, you will earn a 25 WRZ$ bonus
If all three of your horses finish in the top 3, you will earn a 50 WRZ$ bonus
If you can actually predict the 3 winning horses in the exact order of finish, you will share the Trifecta Pool - 500 WRZ$

What is it?
You have to pick three horses. You will earn WRZ$ based on the outcome of the race.

How do you play?

We will consider your FIRST POST/PICKS as your entry, and probably send you a PM or make a post saying how bad you are
(Disclaimer: A horse can be “scratched” (removed) from a race due to injury or other factors prior to post time. Since we post the racing form a day before the race, it is possible you will pick a horse that won’t be in the race. All we have to say about that is… BUMMER… Deal with it )

ALL PICKS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
MONDAY 5 PM Chicago (UTC -6)
MONDAY 11 PM GMT (UTC +0)
Any picks made after this deadline will simply be ignored.
Any edits after this deadline, and your post will be disallowed.

Reward:
