SPORTS CENTER CONTEST #392 TRUE DAILY DOUBLE

For Wednesday’s horse racing, we were at Delta Downs, an American thoroughbred and quarter horse racetrack in Calcasieu Parish, near Vinton, Louisiana. To win we had to predict the winning pony in each of the two races, with a shot at bigger winnings if we got both winning ponies correct.

RACE TO THE 400th

It's been a wonderful year... It seems like just yesterday we were asking people
"So who will win? Simply post Switzerland or South Korea (not both)", and off we went.
It's been a long journey, the Olympics, the World Cup, March Madness, The Masters, The Kentucky Derby, The Premier League, Wimbledon, IPL and many, MANY sporting events from around the globe
And I think we have kept our promise that NO KNOWLEDGE OF SPORTS is required

We ran the Olympics from start to finish... many sports Quizzes, Sports Quickies, Marketing Polls, Personal Bets, and we are now approaching Contest #400

To celebrate these milestones we wanted to do "something special"
So this is it.. the RACE TO THE 400th

INFORMATION
This "SPECIAL" will cover Seven Contests - #394 through #400
Why start with contest #394 you might ask?
That's simple... this all started back on February 8th of 2018 with our first Olympic contest... and contest #394 will be our official "Anniversary Contest" for February 8th, 2019. So buckle up and get ready for the next 7 contests
To win, all you have to do is enter, and if you enter ALL OF THEM, there is even a bonus for that.
We will be "keeping" score of how you do in EVERY Contest. And since the results are kind of random, and no knowledge of sports is needed, we will be paying out the top overall winners, AND the top overall losers

What is it?
An overall contest that includes seven contests, #394-#400

How do you play?
Just enter all the regular contests you can... the more the better, and even BETTER IF YOU ENTER ALL SEVEN

The Rules
Normal rules apply for all the individual contests
To be considered a "win", you must share the pool. Earning just a bonus does NOT qualify as a win toward the totals
AND, in celebration of these milestones, Pool Sizes will be increased to 750 WRZ$ for these contests

Reward:
The following rewards are above and beyond the individual contest rewards:

PLAY IN ALL SEVEN CONTESTS = 50 WRZ$

MOST WINS AWARD
WINNER = 200 WRZ$
2nd PLACE = 150 WRZ$
3rd PLACE = 100 WRZ$
4th - 10th PLACE = 50 WRZ$

LEAST WINS AWARD (NOTE: MUST ENTER ALL 7 CONTESTS TO BE ELIGIBLE)
BIGGEST LOSER = 200 WRZ$
2nd Loser = 150 WRZ$
3rd Loser = 100 WRZ$
4th Loser = 50 WRZ$

This is the first contest in the SPORTS CENTER ANNIVERSARY - RACE TO THE 400th Event

A year ago this all started when we asked this simple question...
"So who will win? Simply post Switzerland or South Korea (not both)"
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SPORTS CENTER
For this contest, I looked to see if there were any Women's Hockey matches that we could do in honor of that First Contest a year ago... Well that didn't work
So instead, this contest will still feature Hockey, but it will be the men in the NHL
And, since there is only one game scheduled in the NHL this Friday, we are stuck with it

INFORMATION
Carolina Hurricanes 52% at New York Rangers 48%
Unlike our first contest where Switzerland was a total freebie pick against the hapless South Koreans... This one will be a "tad" more competitive
Neither one of these teams has been very good this year
Carolina is in 5th place with a 26-21-6 record, while New York is in 7th place with a 23-22-8 record. And with New York being the home team, this should be a tough one to pick, unlike our first ever contest... so GOOD LUCK
