PREMIER LEAGUE DAILY DOUBLE

The 2018-19 Premier League continued this past weekend with some good games. We looked at two matchups, and to win we had to pick the winner in both games. The favorites are in bold and red.

GAME ONE - SATURDAY
Crystal Palace vs. West Ham/DRAW


Noble scored early for West Ham thanks to a penalty shot and Zaha scored at 76’ to tie the game 1-1 but Crystal was unable to break through Ham’s defense again and the game ended in a draw.

GAME TWO - MONDAY
Wolves vs. Newcastle/DRAW


The game was goalless until the second half when Hayden scored at 56’. Wolves scored to even the game in the final minutes but it was too little too late and the game ended in a draw.

For Monday’s horse racing, we were at Turf Paradise, a thoroughbred and quarter horse racetrack in the Deer Valley section of Phoenix, Arizona. The 7th race was the one we were watching today and it was a fast track with a distance of five furlongs on the turf.

Although the third place pony was one with low odds both the horses placed 1 and 2 had the best odds to win so we had LOTS of winners

We've certainly covered a lot of ground in our first year. We started on a Global stage with the Olympics, and have been covering sporting events from around the world ever since.
And again, a SPECIAL thanks to all those who have entered a contest, provided us with ideas/suggestions, answered our marketing polls, posted updates and final scores, made a personal wager, pointed out our mistakes, included news stories of sports that mean something to them, included interesting sports photos, or simply joined the discussion. That was the whole concept behind Sports Center, and you have all helped make it happen. We couldn't have done it without you. THANK YOU!

Now back to what you really care about, the contest
Wednesday brings us a full slate of NBA games, and there are some really good match ups.
And as a way to give people a few more chances to tally up some more wins for the Race To The 400th Contest... Time for a 3 FOR 1
This contest will really be 3 contests wrapped up into a single contest
To win each of the individual contests, you only have to predict the winner of the game
You will have three shots to win a share of three different pools
And as an ADDED BONUS, if you win all three, you will get a 50 WRZ$ BONUS

Milwaukee Bucks 51% at Indiana Pacers 49%
The 1st place Bucks go into Indiana to play the 3rd place Pacers.
Milwaukee has 41 wins on the year, while Indiana has 37. Both these teams are expected to do well in the playoffs this year, so this should be a great game

CONTEST TWO
Miami Heat 48% at Dallas Mavericks 52%
Both these teams suck, but pretty much suck equally
The 9th place Heat, with their 25 wins, has to go into Dallas to play the 11th place Mavericks, who have 26 wins. While this game probably won't be pretty, it should be close

CONTEST THREE
Golden State Warriors 60% at Portland Trail Blazers 40%
The 1st place Warriors go into to Portland to play the 4th place Trail Blazers.
This should be the easiest pick of the three, but you can't count out Portland at home

CONTEST 2 - pick either Miami or Dallas
