But let's shake thing up a bit. For this Friday let's go back to our roots...
The term Daily Double originated at the horse tracks. Even though I use it for about half the contests around here, the concept is still the same as the original. For the ponies, a Daily Double means you have to pick the winners in two consecutive races. The races that feature daily doubles are decided on by the track and are usually the first two or last two races of the day.
So... let's try A TRUE DAILY DOUBLE for a change!

For this TRUE DAILY DOUBLE, we go down to Los Alamitos Race Course in "beautiful" Cypress, California
Racing Forms for the 1st and 2nd races
As you can see, both races have a HEAVY favorite, but also have a few other horses that could seriously challenge for the win...
So good luck with these two races
What is it?
You can win by picking the winner of either race... and win even bigger if you get them both right
How do you play?
To enter this contest, you will need to post the following:
A TRUE DAILY DOUBLE
Pick ONE horse from Race #1
Pick ONE horse from Race #2

You have two chances to win, just make a pick for both races
Only 1 post/entry per person for this contest. If you make multiple entries, SHAME ON YOU
We will consider your FIRST POST/PICKS as your entry, and probably send you a PM or make a post saying how bad you are
ALL PICKS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
FRIDAY 9 PM Chicago (UTC -6)
SATURDAY 3 AM GMT (UTC +0)
Any picks made after this deadline will simply be ignored.
Any edits after this deadline, and your post will be disallowed.
Reward:
If you correctly predict the winner of either race, you earn 25 WRZ$
However, if you get them both right, you earn 100 WRZ$
