For Monday’s horse racing, we were at Turf Paradise, a thoroughbred and quarter horse racetrack in the Deer Valley section of Phoenix, Arizona. The 6th race was the one we were watching today and it was a fast track with a distance of five furlongs on the turf.
As we know, horses can be scratched (or removed) from a race due to injury or other factors prior to post time.
