NBA SLAUGHTER RULE For our Friday NBA action, we looked at three matchups with three HUGE dogs. To win we had to predict which underdog (in bold and red) would get slaughtered by the most points.
GAME ONEMiami Heat at Orlando Magic
The Heat went cold in the fourth quarter Friday night, matching the lowest point total for a quarter by an NBA team in more than two years. Terrence Ross scored 25 points, Nikola Vucevic added 20 points and 11 rebounds and the Orlando Magic held Miami to six points over the final 12 minutes on their way to a 105-85 victory.
GAME TWOAtlanta Hawks at Boston Celtics
Trae Young had 28 points and 10 assists, but Daniel Theis blocked his step-back 3-point attempt with 3 seconds left and Boston recovered from an 18-point, first-quarter deficit against the NBA's worst team to win 109-106 on Friday night.
GAME THREENew Orleans Pelicans at Los Angeles Lakers
