For yet another edition of our classic rivalry, we looked at NHL action with three exciting games. To win we had to predict which country would have the most wins.

GAME ONE
New Jersey Devils at Toronto Maple Leafs

As expected, this one was over early with Toronto scoring 3 goals in the first period. New Jersey tried to mount a come back in the third period, but a day late and a dollar short

GAME TWO
Chicago Blackhawks at Ottawa Senators

While my Blackhawks were dominant most of the game, they still needed OT to pull off this victory

GAME THREE
Nashville Predators at Edmonton Oilers

Our contest came down to the third game, and it was tied after the first period at two goals each.
But that's all Nashville was going to score, and the Oilers sealed this one for Team Canada

THURSDAY BEST SCORE

It's the start of the new year and PGA golf is back. This week, the tour travels to La Quinta, California, for the The American Express, formerly the Desert Classic, CareerBuilder Challenge, Palm Springs Golf Classic, the Bob Hope Desert Classic, the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, and the Humana Challenge (they've had some sponsorship problems over the years )
And while "some" of us might actually cares who wins, this contest will only focus on the rounds played this Thursday
We are looking for you to predict who will shoot the lowest score of the Day on Thursday
To make it easier, we have divided the top 18 players into three groups of 6, and are simply asking you to pick a group
If one of your 6 players shoots the best score of the day, you share the pool
As usual...
NOTE: TIE BREAKING WILL BE DONE USING THE STANDARD GOLF METHOD... Comparing score cards of the tied players
You start by comparing their scores on the 18th hole, whoever had the better score wins the tie breaker.
If they had the same score, you look at their scores on the 17th hole... and on and on until the tie is broken
