For yet another edition of our classic rivalry, we looked at NHL action with three exciting games. To win we had to predict which country would have the most wins.
GAME ONE
Anaheim Ducks vs. Ottawa Senators
The Senators lost yet again in extra time Tuesday, dropping a 3-2 shootout decision to the Anaheim Ducks. Ondrej Kase and Richard Rakell scored in the shootout against Senators goaltender Marcus Hogberg, while the Senators shooters came up empty against Ducks goaltender John Gibson.
GAME TWO
Nashville Predators vs. Winnipeg Jets
After it being 1-1, Mikael Granlund scored 1:11 into overtime to lift the Nashville Predators to a 2-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday. Granlund's blast went high past goalie Connor Hellebuyck and gave the Predators their third win in the last four games.
GAME THREE
Edmonton Oilers vs. Arizona Coyotes
Conor Garland and Lawson Crouse scored two minutes apart in the second period, Antti Raanta stopped 30 shots and the Arizona Coyotes ended a five-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.
It was a clean sweep by the Americans so the pool was bumped up to 750 WRZ$!
