We featured action from the 2021 PGA Tour season on Thursday with the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour schedule held annually at Pebble Beach, California and being played on three different courses, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. We divided the top 30 golfers into three groups of 10, and to win we had to predict which group would shoot the lowest score of the day, i.e. Round 1. Our choices — Group 1, 2, 3, or The Field.

Patrick Cantlay caught fire on Thursday in the first round of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, birdieing seven of his first eight holes en route to a 10-under 62. Cantlay finished the day with 10 birdies heading into the clubhouse with a bogey-free round and two shots clear of Akshay Bhatia and Henrik Norlander who sat in a tie for second.
