SPORTS CENTER CONTEST #1187

NASCAR SUNDAY

We featured NASCAR action on Sunday from The Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500, a 334-lap NASCAR Cup Series stock car race held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. We split the top drivers into three groups. Our choices — Group 1, 2, or 3, or The Field, with a shot at a bonus for picking who would take home the Championship title.

Final results:
WINNER - Ryan Blaney
2nd - Kyle Larson
3rd - Alex Bowman

Kyle Larson led 269 of the race's 334 laps and won the first two stages. He looked to be racing to a comfortable win but despite dominating most of the race, Ryan Blaney passed Larson with less than eight laps to go to win Sunday's Cup Series race at Atlanta. Alex Bowman, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch rounded out the top 5.

SPORTS CENTER CONTEST #1188 MONDAY DAILY DOUBLE

March Madness Monday featured two NCAA College Basketball games. To win we had to guess the winner in each. The favorites are in bold and red.

GAME ONE
Colorado Buffaloes vs. Florida State Seminoles


Anthony Polite scored a career-high 22 points and No. 4 seed Florida State pulled away in the second half to beat Colorado 71-53 Monday night and advance to the Sweet 16 for the third straight NCAA Tournament.

USC Trojans vs. Kansas Jayhawks


The 3-seeded Kansas Jayhawks lost to the 6-seeded USC Trojans 85-51 Monday night in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
