Thank you Star for taking the last number... And thanks to all for participating in our first DOUBLE HEADER
Well the series was tied at two games each. The Monkeys were pissed about losing their 2 to 0 game lead, and the Minions were on a roll.
It was back and forth with balls flying all over the place... and in the bottom of the ninth, with the scored tied at 5 runs each, two outs, a runner on first, and the Monkeys best hitter at the plate...
And you guessed it. A two run walk off home run to end the game.

FINAL SCORE
MONKEYS 7
MINIONS 5
And The Monkeys take a 3 to 2 game lead in this series.
WordDiva was accurate, correctly picking that the Monkeys would score 7 runs, so we have our winner of this SPORTS QUICKIE
CONGRATULATIONS
That concludes today's DOUBLE HEADER QUICKIE
And stay tuned... another Sports Quickie is in the future.
And don't forget... there is still time to sign up for Slaughter Rule

Melbourne Storm's Curtis Scott sent off for punching Manly's Dylan Walker, breaking his eye socket
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-05-20/c ... tion=sport
An all-in brawl saw the Melbourne Storm's NRL clash with Manly explode into life last night, costing Curtis Scott a potential State of Origin berth after he left Dylan Walker with a broken eye socket.
Scott threw a flurry of punches at Manly's Walker, leaving the referee no choice but to give the Storm centre his marching orders, making him the first player to be sent off in the NRL since 2015.
Walker and Sea Eagles hooker Apisai Koroisau were also sin-binned for their roles in the handbags, in a match that ended in a drubbing for the hosts, 24-4 in Manly's favour.
Walker has been ruled out for six weeks with the fractured eye socket, in a massive blow for Manly which would have likely shifted the player back to the centres after signing Trent Hodkinson last week.
The timing is dreadful for Scott, who faces a lengthy ban for his actions, with Blues Origin coach Brad Fittler likely to stage a huge clean-out of the NSW team.
As well as showing he can handle the big stage as a premiership centre last season, the tough 20-year-old has formed a threatening left-edge combination with NSW certainty Josh Addo-Carr.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy was disappointed Scott reacted so poorly to the niggle from Walker. "He needs to learn from this," Bellamy said. "One thing you like about him is that he's really competitive and that's the first time he's done that but he will learn from that because it's going to be fairly costly to us and to him as well."
But this rose is an extra. - A. Conan Doyle
