Ok let's get to it. Today we had Group D matches which consists of Australia, Denmark, France, and Tunisia. Australia has a win and a loss, France has two wins, Demark and Tunisia both have a loss and a draw. The matches today were Tunisia v France and Australia v Denmark. Let's analyze Tunisia v France first. As France already has two win the outcome of this match didn't matter to them which is why they didn't play to win and didn't even start with their best players. Tunisia on the other hand had to win to have a chance but even then they had to hope that Australia lost to Denmark so maybe the goal difference. And while they won 1-0 against France it mattered not as Australia won 1-0 against Denmark. The score was surprising because the odds favored Denmark and you would think they bring their best to win against Australia so to advance but they performed poorly and a lot people were questioning why because some of those mistakes were amateur hour gaffes. It was even more surprising as they had possession of the ball 70% of the time but it is what it is.
