Argentina and Saudi Arabia have a win and a loss, Mexico has a draw and a loss and Poland has a win and a draw. The matches today are Poland v Argentina and Saudi Arabia v Mexico. Touching first on Poland v Argentina they are both in a good position and win, lose or draw can see Poland in the round of 16 whereas the Argentines are need a win or draw. Messi's team was out for blood and barely gave any chances to Lewandowski's. Of the 4 shots the Polish took none were on target compared to Argentina's 23 shots with 12 on target. Of those 12 shots 2 crossed the goal line ending on a 0-2 for Argetina. Now Saudi Arabia v Mexico SA needed to win to advance or at least draw to have a chance whereas Mexico needed an absolute win. They fought hard to win and in the second half managed to score two goals however this was not enough. They needed one more to advance and try as they might they did not succeed and even lost a bit of their hope in the end enough that SA managed to find a opening and score a goal before losing to the Mexicans. And though Mexico won 1-2 it was bittersweet as they didn't have the points necessary to advance
