Im not a nationalist. But I do enjoy cheering for Serena and back in the day agassi.
I used lo like hewit but injuries completely derailed his career.
I used to like federer when he started and so did nadal But the more I got to know Nadal the more I got to dislike him making me cheer for Federer. After Nadal owned him too many times I started to hate Federer and hoping someone else would come along. Now it would seem thats the reason I like Novak but it isnt. He has what I would call the perfect Tennis Body and plays the tough never die style I like. He also used to have quite a sense of humor and I respected He had a good team behind him and wasnt a complete sell out.
Dont know if you know but he thought of dropping his Serb alliance and being promoted by Russians because the serbs dont show much support and I cant really blame him. Not because I like sell outs but being from a country that doesnt appreciate you or care that you that lead them with pride sucks. I would rather have fans support me and show me love. When he's got Nadal having the Royalty of Spain worship him and Federer have the rich swiss. Come to think of it we should give him nationality and have him represent us. We've never had anyone of his caliber except samprass who I never really liked but he was really damn good. I liked Like Andy even less. With all talent killer serve he'd crumble. I remember the best tennis Match I've ever seen. He got defeated by Aggasi in the US Open finals with Aggassi surviving several championship set points. Being lesser and older. Andy never really showed Championship quality. But hey you could vote for British Andy. US/ Briitsh Pretty much the same thing and he's a hell of a good tennis player.
