For this Tuesday edition of baseball, we had two games featuring two of the best match ups.
Our job was to predict how many of the home teams (in bold and red) would actually win. Our choices: 0, 1 or 2.

GAME ONE
Houston Astros at Seattle Mariners


Playing at home worked well for the Mariners last night when they pulled off a 3-run homer in the eighth inning to beat the Astros 7-4. However, tonight was a different story. The visitors managed to maintain a 1-run lead throughout and the Mariners just couldn’t catch up, losing the game 3-2.

St Louis Cardinals at Los Angeles Dodgers


Cardinals spoiled Dodgers’ home party last night when they beat their hosts 5-3. Tonight was no different. Cardinals had a 3-run lead by the bottom of the seventh and they maintained the lead to beat the home team 5-2.

Since NONE of the home teams won the correct answer was 0.

We just haven't had ANY KIND OF LUCK with the ponies lately... hopefully this one will be different.

HORSE RACING – THE SPORT OF KINGS

Well now, it’s our sport as well. Trifecta means picking the top three horses in the exact order that they will finish.
So your job will be to pick 3 horses out of the 9 horses in the race and predict the exact order they will finish. Yeah, it sounds tough, and it is. But we will make it easy to win.
If the first horse you pick finishes in the top three, you will share the 500 WRZ$ pool
If two of your horses finish in the top 3, you will earn a 25 WRZ$ bonus
If all three of your horses finish in the top 3, you will earn a 50 WRZ$ bonus
If you can actually predict the 3 winning horses in the exact order of finish, you will share the Trifecta Pool - 500 WRZ$

For this race on Thursday, we are right in my backyard (well almost) at Arlington Race Track in beautiful Arlington Heights, Illinois... about 10 miles from where I live. Maybe I will stop by and watch the race and maybe make a bet or two

You can earn a bonus based on how the horses finish in the race
(Disclaimer: A horse can be “scratched” (removed) from a race due to injury or other factors prior to post time. Since we post the racing form a day before the race, it is possible you will pick a horse that won’t be in the race. All we have to say about that is… BUMMER… Deal with it )
