After losing big to Chelsea and Man. City, Huddersfield were looking to register their first win this PL season against a newly promoted Cardiff, who were hoping to score their first PL goal since 2014!
The Terriers had the advantage on posession in the first half but both teams had plenty of missed opportunities throughout.
Hogg’s headbutt on Arter in the second half resulted in a red card meaning Huddersfield were down a player but Cardiff failed to take advantage and couldn’t score. The match ended in a DRAW.

Both teams were going into this third round match on a high. Liverpool had two impeccable wins this PL and Brighton was coming off an incredible win over Man. United.
Salah drew first blood for Liverpool with a neat low drive off the left post to score 1-0.
Brighton were lacking in all departments today and couldn’t launch a good enough counter-attack when required.
