SPORTS CENTER CONTEST #203 PREMIER LEAGUE DAILY DOUBLE

The 2018-19 Premier League continues this weekend with two exciting games. As is the case with a Daily Double, we had to pick the winner in BOTH games to win. The favorites are in bold and red.

GAME ONE
Cardiff City/DRAW vs. Huddersfield Town


After losing to Chelsea and Man. City, Huddersfield were looking to register their first win this PL season against a newly promoted Cardiff, who were hoping to score their first PL goal since 2014!
Huddersfield had 72% possession before Hogg's sending-off and just 30% in the wake of his red card. Cardiff City were still unable to score despite having the advantage and both sets of players slumped to the turf at the final whistle, exhausted and frustrated at failing to take three points against opposition who may well be rivals in the fight against relegation come May.


GAME TWO
Liverpool vs. Brighton/DRAW


Both teams were going into this third round match on a high. Liverpool had two impeccable wins this PL and Brighton was coming off an incredible win over Man. United.
Brighton had their chances to equalize with good counter-attacking but couldn’t break through the Liverpool defense. Mohammed Salah’s goal helped Liverpool win 1-0 and they are now at the top of the PL points table.

Vettel took the lead away from Hamilton after the first pit stop and cruised to victory at the Belgian Grand Prix with over a 11-second lead!
