When I was kid we played a version of this where if you landed on another player's token, they were bounced back to their start holding pen. I understood schadenfreude well before I could ever spell it (not that I can now, I just looked it up).
I've played that version as well! Not sure I would have called it bouncing back though...more like total slaughter.

**Remember in this Classic Version, players must bring all their tokens into play, and the game will end when the first five players on any board have brought all their tokens home and post LUDO.
