Con wanted to catch up with Bob and Anna but even with his bashed head he realized, Anna would be crushed if he did that. Literally. Con is really heavy with all his accessories. So he just shouted at Nimue: "Lady, you're taking your sweet time to move your—!" Con realizes now, after we punished him, he can't talk to a lady like that.
Bob decided to watch over Con, so he wouldn't cause any more scandals. And at that right moment, Anna had decided she didn't need her brothers because she could take care of herself.
