What is it?
- A two-player game played on a 6x6 board. Players take turns to place red or blue discs on the board. The objective is to capture as many of your opponent's discs as possible. The captured discs become "turncoats", changing their colour to that of their captor. The winner is the player who has more discs on the board at the end of the game.
How do you play?
Subscription round:
- Post in the thread that you would like to play.
- The subscription round will be open for 24 hours. After that, your opponent will be randomly selected and you will be assigned to a numbered board.
- A random dice roll between you and your opponent will determine the colour of the discs you will be playing. The person with the higher die will play the red discs.
Subsequent rounds:
- The game begins with four discs – 2 red and 2 blue – already in place in the centre of each board. After this initial set up, the sides take turns to move. Reds always move first, followed by Blues. This posting order remains unchanged throughout the game.
- The initial disc placement:

- A valid move is the move that results in capturing one or more of your opponent's discs and turning them your own colour. In order to do that, you need to place a disc on a vacant square so that any number of your opponent's discs (from a single disc to a whole row of them) is trapped between your newly-placed disc and one of your discs that are already present on the board.
- Example:

- Discs may only be captured as a direct result of a move and must fall in the direct line of the newly-placed disc. You can capture your opponent's discs in horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions.
- Example:

- You can capture more than one row of your opponent's discs in one move.
- Example:

- You can only capture uninterrupted rows of discs.
- Example:

- You cannot make a move that doesn't capture at least one of your opponent's discs.
- Invalid move example:

- To make a move, post in the thread your board number and the coordinates of the square where you want to place your disc, then sit back and relax while I'm doing the rest of the work

- If there are no valid moves available, you pass your turn. You can pass as many times as needed. However, if a valid move is available you must make it.

Pass - no moves available
- The game ends when all the squares are filled OR when neither player can make a valid move. The discs are counted, and the player with more discs on the board is awarded a win.
- If both players have the exact same number of discs, the game is considered a tie, and they share the reward.
Rules:
- Post your board number with each move.
- Only one post per player per round.
- You may not edit your post after the boards have been updated.
- Players must post in all rounds, even if they are passing their turn. If a player fails to post in two consecutive rounds, I reserve the right to invite another person to take their place at my discretion.
- The rounds will remain open for 24 hours, unless all eligible players have posted, in which case the boards may be updated sooner.
- Please, note that there will be the rounds where only Reds can post and the rounds where only Blues can post. This will be reflected in the thread title. If you post out of turn, your post will be ignored.
- The contest will end once the winners of all boards have been determined.
Rewards:
- Winners will receive 150 WRZ$ each.
