If you had asked Cat or Mouse, I would have answered that posters and the randomizer favorised Cat
I know we have panda, rabbit, turtle or wolf lovers, but that's not very helful here either (except maybe as counting for C Other)
And tiger has not run yet a Pick On with this choice either so I cannot go and count who posted for each
Cat has more than 1800 matches, and Dog has less than 1400, so I'm going to follow this hint (hoping it's not a red herring )

This shouldn't be a tough one - statistically there are more dog vs cat people in the world. So dog should win, right? No, I say - because here we are predicting what our 40-odd brethren of fellow Mobi-ites will choose - and I think more of them will choose cat.

Why? "Cat people", at least anecdotally are more introspective and so possibly more likely to be bigger readers - the sort of people then, that are more likely to find themselves on a site like Mobilism and take a few contemplative minutes to participate in this contest.

You know the type and I think most of you who took that time to respond ARE the type. People like you and me, who like nothing better to curl up with a good book and friendly kitty. Smart people, good people, cat people...
