Wooden satellites

Image

A Japanese company and Kyoto University have joined forces to develop what they hope will be the world’s first satellites made partially out of wood. Set to launch in 2023 with completion targeted for 2030, the shell of the LignoSat satellite will be made from timber, allowing it to burn up completely as it re-enters the Earth’s atmosphere.

The project aims to avoid adding to the estimated 2,550 defunct satellites that are currently in orbit despite being surplus to requirements.

“We are very concerned with the fact that all the satellites that re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere burn and create tiny alumina particles, which will float in the upper atmosphere for many years,” Takao Doi, a professor at Kyoto University and Japanese astronaut, told the BBC.

The wooden satellites would burn up without releasing junk into space or showering debris on the ground as they fall down to Earth.

Doritos Announces a Strawberries and Cream Flavor Chip?
Published 21 June 2021*

A strawberries and cream social media post from Doritos may be more about tennis than tortilla chips.

On June 18, 2021, the UK social media accounts for Doritos, Frito-Lay’s brand of flavored tortilla chips, issued posts on its Instagram and Twitter social media accounts to announce an unusual and improbable new flavor of chip — Strawberries and Cream.

“Strawberries & Cream Doritos, you didn’t ask for them, but you’ll definitely want to try them,” said a tweet accompanied by a picture of the new Strawberries and Cream packaging:

Strawberries & Cream Doritos, you didn’t ask for them, but you’ll definitely want to try them pic.twitter.com/uVYIdEla5n
— Doritos (@DoritosUK) June 18, 2021

Indeed, we found no commenters who admitted to asking for Strawberries and Cream flavor Doritos, but plenty who questioned whether the post was some sort of joke or prank:

Its not April 1st where you guys are is it?

Is this a joke? This can’t work surely but also… pic.twitter.com/oG58er8BIc
— Ashley (@AshleyMaidens) June 18, 2021

Given that only the UK social media accounts for Doritos (and not their U.S. counterparts) issued such posts, and no other information on the subject came out, we assume that the announcement was a promotional gimmick tied to the upcoming Wimbledon tennis tournament in London, at which the consumption of strawberries and cream is a long-standing tradition.

Doritos UK did eventually confirm they were “not doing Strawberries & Cream Doritos”:

No, we're not doing Strawberries & Cream Doritos, but we have been cooking up something sweet with @Dicefm & @SandCFestival – we’ve got festival tickets + DICE credits up for grabs every day! #MakeYourPlay pic.twitter.com/3ldMO32AlP

Why Are There as Many Churches on Mykonos as There Are Families?

Image

When you think of Mykonos you think of one of the most popular party islands of the Greek islands, The truth of the matter is that it is also one of the most adorned islands with traditionally styled churches and charming little chapels.

Why does this island have as many chapels and churches?

There is a total of some 600 to 800 churches on the island of Mykonos, which ends up resulting in one church or chapel per local family!

Although the majority of small churches and chapels are thought to be constructed as the centerpiece of the yearly religious festivals called “Paniguria”, which take place in honor of the Virgin Mary, there are many reasons why the hillsides of Mykonos are packed with these stunning religious structures.

Many of the churches and chapels on the island date back to the Byzantine era up until the 19th century, and have been declared historical monuments by the Greek Ministry of Culture.

However, not all churches on Mykonos are old, and many modern churches were built as a religious act of devotion or to commemorate the location where a miracle was believed to have taken place.

Also, as part of the Mykonian customs, chapels, and churches on the island were built to place the bones of dead family members in a shrine. This is still practiced in modern times across the island.

Historically, churches and small chapels were built around the island facing the sea to aid in the safe voyage and return of sailors.

Mykonos Town is home to 60 churches

Image

Mykonos Town (Chora) alone has over 60 churches, so you should definitely visit some of them while on Mykonos. Here is a sample of what the island has to offer:

Panagia Paraportiani is a popular destination as this unique complex of five churches, four of which are on the ground and the fifth on the roof, has become known as an iconic symbol of the island of Mykonos. It is located in Kastro.

Agia Kyriaki is a charming little church and is located in Agia Kyriaki square in Mykonos Town. Its red-painted domes and white-washed walls are the backdrop to a modern-day cafeteria where many locals and tourists sit and enjoy the church while sipping coffee.

Agios Nikolaos off the Harbor in the old port of Mykonos is known by locals as “Agios Nikolakis”, denoting its small size. It is located in the old port of Mykonos Town along the sea and was built in the 4th century to honor Saint Nikolaos, the patron saint of fisherman.

The only Catholic church on the island has been dedicated to the Virgin of St. Rosary since 1668 and is called the Catholic church of Panagia Rodario.

The church caught on fire on May Day in 1991 and the icon of the Virgin of Rosary suffered damage although it has since been restored. Services still take place in this small church year round.

Missing Italian toddler found by reporter sent to cover disappearance

A toddler who had been missing in the Italian woods for two nights has miraculously been found by a journalist reporting on the story.

The 21-month-old boy, Nicola Tanturli, went missing after wandering away from his home in Palazzuolo sul Senio near Florence, in the middle of the night on Monday.

A search team was sent to the area in a frantic around-the-clock search for the boy, with the operation attracting widespread coverage in Italian media.

Reporter Giuseppe Di Tommaso from RAI state television was covering the story on Wednesday when he heard the boy whimpering, about three kilometres from his home.

Image
Nicola Tanturli being held by a police officer after he was found.

Di Tommaso yelled out to the boy and discovered him at the bottom of a ravine covered in trees and shrubs, with search crews pulling him to safety.

“I started to yell, ‘Nicola,’ to understand if it could be the child. I heard ‘Mamma,’ ” Di Tommaso told RAI.

“I started to repeat the word ‘mamma’, because children of that age repeat words. When I intuited that it could be Nicola, I went down into the ravine.”

He said he had spotted the boy among thick, thorny shrubs, about 10 metres away, and hailed down a car with two Carabinieri paramilitary officers.

Image
RAI reporter Giuseppe Di Tommaso found the child 3km away from his house.

Commander Danilo Ciccarelli lowered himself 25 metres down the embankment to investigate.

“I heard clearer cries and expected an animal to come out,” Ciccarelli told a news conference.

“Instead, Nicola came out with his head in the high grass and said, ‘Mamma.’ It was a beautiful feeling.”

The toddler was found with only a few scratches and a bump to his hand before being reunited with his family

“It was a tremendous joy to bring him back to his mother’s arms,” Ciccarelli said.

You Can Buy A Fart Vacuum That 'Reduces The Stench Of Flatulence'

Image

Need to find a gift for your dad/anniversary/self? Then look no further.

You can buy a fart vacuum that 'reduces the stench of flatulence'.

So what is this magical contraption, I hear you ask? Well, it's a FartVac - which is essentially comprised of an air pump and a carbon filter.

The product description reads: "FartVac is the world's first fart vacuum and filtering system.

"Using a hand-activated air pump and an activated carbon filter, FartVac reduces the stench of flatulence.

"It is time to align norms and manners to what is healthy! By taking responsibility and trying to reduce your fart smells, you can now fart without shame--no more pain while fighting nature and holding in gas.

"Join the proud movement to embrace your body's natural functions."

Wow, that all sounds quite noble and passionate - though the last line of the product description basically acknowledges why most people will buy it.

The description concludes: "FartVac also makes a great gag or white elephant gift for the gassy people in your life."

Image

But how exactly does this device work?

The FartVac website states: "FartVac removes the fart gas under your clothing and filters it with activated carbon technology.

"Typically, farts are trapped by our clothing and don't escape the fibres for about five seconds. This is the time when FartVac can remove and filter them."

There isn't an explanation of how exactly you use it, but it appears to all be pretty self-explanatory.

However, you should only put the nozzle down your pants, OK? Not, you know, right on the blast site.

A legal disclaimer warns: "Do not insert any part of this product in your body. External use only."

If you're wondering whether it will work on your most horrible farts - which you may well be, given that is one of the questions in the FAQ section of the FartVac website - then the answer is possibly

FartVac explains: "NASA uses activated carbon for odour and impurification filtration, so we know the technology is sound.

"That said, there is no guarantee that FartVac will remove all the smell from your horrible gas.

"If people complain of your odour despite your use of the FartVac, we recommend a higher-fibre diet and an avoidance of meat and dairy."

You can buy the FartVac on Amazon for $11.99 (£8.61).

The perfect gift for the man who has everything, including smelly farts

Cows escape from Los Angeles-area slaughterhouse, lead police on chase
Image
A herd of cows led sheriff's deputies on a chase through a city in southeastern Los Angeles County on Tuesday evening after escaping from a slaughterhouse, according to reports.

At least 34 cows were reportedly seen stampeding down streets and across lawns in Pico Rivera around 8:30 p.m. PT. The Los Angele County Sheriff's Department told people to avoid the area.

One of the cows charged a man who was taken to a hospital afterward, according to FOX 11 of Los Angeles. The cow was later shot and killed by an officer, KABC-TV in Los Angeles reported.

Another cow was hit by a car but walked away from the incident, FOX 11 reported.

By 10: 20 p.m., authorities had caught most of the cows and gotten them into trailers, KABC reported.

It wasn't immediately clear how the cows escaped.

Sea lion opens gate to crash fisherman's interview about a 'plague of sea lions'

Image

Residents of Tome, a town in the Bio Bio region of Chile, have been experiencing what one fisherman called a "plague of sea lions".

The sea lions are thought to have been fleeing predators such as orcas, although gale force winds in the area could also be a factor.

One sea lion was caught on camera, opening a gate to crash an interview.

A giant panda has given birth to tiny twin cubs at Japan's oldest zoo — a joyous moment for the conservation of the vulnerable species.

Image

Just a month before the start of the Olympic Games in Japan, the country is celebrating another exciting occasion. A giant panda has given birth to tiny twin cubs at a Japanese zoo — a joyous moment for the conservation of the vulnerable species.

On Wednesday, 15-year-old giant panda Shin Shin gave birth to two cubs. It has been about 4 years since she last mated with her 15-year-old male partner Ri Ri, and the most recent birth marks the first time that twins have been born at the zoo.

The twins were born just after midnight, about an hour and a half apart. One weighed close to four and a half ounces, but the weight of the other is still unknown, as is the sex of both pandas.

The cubs have not yet been named. They join their big sister, Xiang Xiang, born in 2017.

"Baby giant pandas are very small when they're born, so the staff will be watching over them around the clock for a while to make sure they will be growing healthily," zoo director Yutaka Fukuda said during a news conference.

Pandas are notoriously difficult to breed, both in the wild and in captivity, as the females enter heat only once a year and can be picky about their partners. They are currently classified as "vulnerable," with only a few thousand remaining, but have been the subject of rigorous conservation efforts for years.

"All the staff are working together to observe and protect the giant panda mother and children," the Ueno Zoo, the oldest in Japan, said in a statement.

A shipping container is the latest location of a fledgling Toronto radio station that has been operating remotely for the last 15 months.

ISO Radio is an station that can be streamed online (ISO stands for In Search Of). In addition to music, they also do community-based programming at least five days a week.

You won't hear top 40 hits on this station: think obscure instrumental tracks and interviews on the subject of lesser-known subgenres.

The community-led passion project was founded in January 2019 by Josephine Cruz and her partner Mike Ho, also known as Freeza Chin. Both have full-time jobs, Cruz as a producer at a digital agency, and Ho as the owner of recording studio Genesis Sound.

"We both come from a background being involved with independent and community radio stations both here and in London, UK, and very much wanted to try and start our own," Cruz tells blogTO.

The station involves many more people, however, from volunteers who help staff the station to DJs who host shows.

ISO has been part of Nuit Blanche and Mural Festival at Stackt in the past and reached out to them a few months ago to see if they could partner in some way, and the market "went to some great lengths" to get them into a container last week.

"They really make an effort to cultivate a sense of community among their vendors, many of whom are local small businesses, so I think we share similar ethos and am very excited about what this means for us," says Cruz.

Image

Cadence Weapon closed out their first day in the new spot, and one of their first programs in the new container space was a themed 10-hour day curated by queer online community Yohomo for Pride.

"There are so many amazing things about having a physical space but I think for us the standouts are, A, having somewhere for our community to gather safely, especially since we don't have music venues, clubs or concerts at the moment," says Cruz.

"Obviously we can't have hundreds of people, but even to be able to have a central hub that people can drop by, say hi, or hangout outdoors, it's something that we think the music community needs right now. And, B, having a space for people to have access to equipment and gear that the average person cannot afford for home use."

Eventually, they'll be opening up the space for people to practice DJing or recording podcasts or mixes free of charge.

"Everyone has been really excited for this new chapter," says Cruz.

"Running anything like this is super challenging and people often want to know how they can help and honestly I think that just sharing, telling people about it, posting on your social media if you are listening, all of those things mean more than people know."

Chocolate for BREAKFAST? Eating the sugary snack as soon as you wake up may actually help burn fat, study claims

Starting the day with chocolate could have 'unexpected benefits', scientists say
Experts gave 100g of milk chocolate to post-menopausal women after waking
Chocolate intake helped to burn fat and reduce blood glucose levels, they found

By Jonathan Chadwick

Published: 05:57 EDT, 25 June 2021 | Updated: 06:16 EDT, 25 June 2021

We all have a craving for chocolate now and again, but not usually when we first wake up.

However, a new study has claimed that eating the sugary snack for breakfast could actually have 'unexpected benefits' by helping your body burn fat.

Researchers in Boston, Massachusetts gave 100 grams of milk chocolate to 19 post-menopausal women within one hour after waking up and one hour before bedtime.

Scroll down for video
Starting the day with chocolate could actually help your body burn fat, scientists at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston say
+2

That is about the equivalent of two standard-sized Mars bars (58g) – although the researchers used standard milk chocolate containing 18.1g of cocoa.

Amazingly, the team discovered that neither morning or night time milk chocolate intake led to weight gain, likely because it acted as an appetite suppressant.

In fact, intake of milk chocolate during the morning hours was shown to help burn fat and reduce blood glucose levels.

This was possibly due to beneficial chemicals called flavanols found naturally in cocoa that increase fat oxidation.

However, the study was limited to post-menopausal women, so further studies should be performed with men and younger females to confirm these results, the researchers say.

Sadly for chocolate lovers, its high fat and sugar content means it should be eaten in moderation as part of a balanced diet, other experts say.

The study has been conducted by experts at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, working in partnership with investigators at the University of Murcia in Spain.

'Our volunteers did not gain weight despite increasing caloric intake,' said study author Marta Garaulet at the University of Murcia.

'Our results show that chocolate reduced ad libitum energy intake, consistent with the observed reduction in hunger, appetite and the desire for sweets shown in previous studies.'

The study is especially surprising because it used milk chocolate, which has a reputation for contributing to weight gain due to its high fat, sugar and caloric content.
DARK CHOCOLATE EATERS 'LESS LIKELY TO BE DEPRESSED'

People who regularly eat dark chocolate are less likely to be depressed, researchers said in 2019.

Scientists quizzed more than 13,000 people about their chocolate consumption and symptoms of depression.

They found volunteers who reported eating any dark chocolate were significantly less likely to report any clinical signs of depression.

A regular chocolate eating habit has also been associated with long-term weight gain, especially in postmenopausal females who can be vulnerable to putting on the pounds.

The 19 women involved in the study ate 100g of milk chocolate for two weeks within an hour of waking up together with breakfast, 100g of milk chocolate for two weeks within the hour before bedtime, and no chocolate for two weeks.

The trials also revealed that eating chocolate in the morning or in the evening was able to influence hunger and appetite.

'Females were less hungry when eating chocolate in the evening than in the morning or with no chocolate and had less desire for sweets when eating chocolate (in either the morning or evening) than with no chocolate,' they report.

Interestingly, sleep records showed that eating chocolate at night induced more regular timing of sleep episodes with lower variability of sleep onset, compared with eating chocolate in the morning.

Bridget Benelam, an expert at the British Nutrition Foundation, told MailOnline the results were 'interesting' but that the study sample was small.

'While the results are interesting, there would need to be more work to understand the effects they found,' she said.

One hundred grams of milk chocolate also contains a hefty amount of calories – around 530, which is about a quarter of average calorie needs for a woman.
Chocolate is typically considered an indulgence because of its high sugar and fat content, which is particularly high in popular milk chocolates
+2

'This would contribute significant amounts of sugar and saturated fat and isn’t consistent with the balanced, varied diet that we know can help to keep us healthy,' Benelam said.

'If you eat foods like chocolate, it’s best to keep portion sizes small, for example 100 to 150 calories.'

The new study, published in The FASEB Journal, follows other recent research into the potential benefits of eating cocoa, the primary ingredient in chocolate.

Earlier this year, scientists at Columbia University found consumption of cocoa was linked to improved performance in list-learning tasks.

This was due to flavanols, which are abundant in cocoa beans and in dark chocolate with high levels of cocoa solids. Flavanols tend to be lower in milk chocolates.

And in 2019, Portuguese researchers said eating a few squares of dark chocolate every day lowers blood pressure in just one month.

However, there's less evidence suggesting the health benefits of milk chocolate.

This is because commercially available milk chocolates on the market are increasingly packed with milk, sugar and fats at the expense of cocoa mass.
COCOA CAN BOOST OXYGEN LEVELS IN THE BRAIN

Drinking cocoa can increase your mental agility thanks to the presence of flavanols – chemicals that are abundant in cocoa beans.

UK and US researchers found healthy adults performed better on difficult cognitive tasks if the participants had consumed a cocoa drink containing high levels of flavanols.

After drinking flavanol-rich cocoa, participants produced a faster and greater increase in blood oxygenation in the frontal cortex – a brain region that plays a key role in cognition and decision-making – that helped them complete these tasks.

Flavanols are antioxidants and are abundant in tea, red wine, blueberries, apples, pears, cherries, and peanuts, as well as in the seeds of the cacao tree – cocoa beans.

By enriching supermarket cocoa with flavanols, food producers could help us increase the brain-boosting plant nutrient in our diet.

Florida Man Allegedly Hides Meth In ‘Penis Skin’ During Arrest

Image

A repeat drug offender in Orange County, Florida, was charged last month after a police search revealed he was hiding methamphetamine inside his "penis skin," according to documents.

Orlando resident Shaft Bang Adams, 30, had been booked into Orange County jail on May 13 for driving with a suspended or revoked license, The Smoking Gun reported.

According to an arrest affidavit, a strip search conducted by a correctional officer revealed Adams was hiding four white crystal rocks in his foreskin. A field test of the crystal rocks revealed they were positive for methamphetamine, the document showed.

Following the discovery, Adams was charged with possession of methamphetamine and introducing contraband into a penal institution, both of which were felonies, as per The Smoking Gun. He spent eight days in custody before posting $2,000 bond.

Adams reportedly had over 20 convictions — more than a dozen of which were drug-related — prior to the May 13 incident, according to the outlet. His prior offenses included domestic assault, battery, possession of a controlled substance, delivery of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, false imprisonment and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Records showed Adams was arrested once more Tuesday for alleged cocaine possession and resisting officers, according to The Smoking Gun report.

A similar incident happened in April when a Green Card holder attempted to smuggle $100,000 worth of cocaine through New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport by hiding the drugs in her purse, bra and private areas.

The passenger, identified as Yerlina Lantigua Hernandez DeNova, had been intercepted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials on April 9 after she flew in from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Officials had initially discovered three pellets containing white powder in DeNova's purse after she presented herself for inspection. She was then taken to a private area for another search, which revealed more drug pellets in her bra.

Following the discovery, DeNova reportedly told officials that more pellets were inserted inside her vagina and anus.

Approximately 3 pounds of cocaine were found in the 100 pellets found by officials, which they claimed had an estimated street value of more than $94,000.

81-Year-old Completes Her Second Tough Mudder Endurance Race Over Huge Obstacles

Image

Okay, so an 81-year old widow just finished her second Tough Mudder Race. What’s your excuse?

Mildred Wilson from Sikeston. Missouri crossed the finish line of a Tough Mudder 5k obstacle course, muddy and elated earlier in March. Despite being an octagenarian, this was Wilson’s second completed Tough Mudder.

In 2019, shortly after her 80th birthday, Wilson was asked by her son if she wanted to do a race, after he himself had just finished one. The race is famous for immediately requiring participants to army crawl through pits of muddy water before tackling a several mile run interspersed with obstacles.

“I had watched him do the World’s Toughest Mudder in Vegas,” Mildred said, according to local news reports. “He asked me last fall if I would like to do one. I said yes, but, if I do it, I want to be able to really do it. Not just be out there.”

She had to get the thumbs up from her doctor first, she said, and began training at the YMCA after getting the medical all-clear. It paid off big time, as she would crush every obstacle in her path, remarking that the Missouri course was a little easier than she expected.

“Except for the wall! I always wanted to try that wall. I realized it wasn’t a piece of cake. It took a whole village to get me up,” she said, referring to a sheer wall of an obstacle called “Everest” requiring ascent by rope.

Wilson’s husband, Farrell, supported her the whole time and cheered her across the finish line in 2019 before passing away the next year. It was in his honor she crossed the line once again in 2021.

Pennsylvania Police stop “exorcism for the Trees killed to make the lumber” at Home Depot

Image

The heads of police officers in a small Pennsylvania town were spinning when they were alerted of an “exorcism” going down at a local big box store.

The bizarre incident took place at the Home Depot in Dickson City, Penn.

The Dickson City Police Department received a report that there were “disorderly people having an exorcism in the lumber aisle for the dead trees” around 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

No charges were filed, reported WTSP, and two people were escorted out of the building.

That didn’t stop the comments from pouring into the police department’s Facebook page.

“The only thing possessed right now are those wood prices.”

“May the price of plywood come down… the name of Christ compels you…..”

“I will light a candle for the lumber at Lowes.”

“DCPD please… for the love of all this is holy… I just need a shred, a wood chip if you will, about what in the actual hardware store was going on with that exorcism.”

“How does a wood exorcism happen in 2021 and not a single person in Home Depot videoed this for our entertainment?”

The people of Dickson City want answers. Officers, a little more information, please.

Man with Alzheimer's Remarries Wife After Forgetting They're Married: 'There Wasn't a Dry Eye'

Image

If there's one thing Lisa Marshall knows for sure, it's her husband being her "soulmate."

The 54-year-old from Connecticut has been the caretaker for her husband, Peter Marshall, since he was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's in 2018, she told Today. The devastating neurological disorder affects nearly 6 million people in the United States age 65 and older and is primarily associated with progressive memory loss, according to Mayo Clinic.

"I didn't know anything about Alzheimer's," Lisa told the outlet about Peter being diagnosed at just 53 years old. "It was something you get when you're 80. I was ignorant about it. I didn't know anything at all. I knew cognitively he was slipping quick, but I was in denial."

While Alzheimer's causes memory loss, the disorder can also lead to a number of other symptoms, including depression, mood swings, irritability and delusions.

As Lisa took up her caretaking responsibilities, she began documenting the journey on the Facebook page, Oh Hello Alzheimer's.

"Every morning when I open my eyes, I see a vision similar to this one, just 3 feet away from my face," Lisa wrote in a recent post on the page, which included a picture of Peter sitting on the floor beside her bed. "My beloved soulmate sitting quietly on the floor of my makeshift office bedroom. Peter, waiting ever so patiently for my eyes to open."

While navigating this new chapter of their lives has been difficult, the couple - who have been married for 12 years, WNBC reported - have persevered thanks to the strength of their bond.

Peter reminded Lisa of his love for her last year as they watched a wedding scene on television. As they sat together, Peter asked his wife if she wanted to marry him, forgetting they had already exchanged vows long ago.

"I said, 'Do what?' And he pointed to the TV, to the scene of this wedding and I said, 'Do you want to get married?' He said yes and had this huge grin on his face," Lisa said in response to Peter, according to the news station. "He doesn't know that I'm his wife. I'm just his favorite person."

But Lisa liked the idea of walking down the aisle once again with Peter, and on April 26, the couple renewed their vows in front of friends and family.

"There wasn't a dry eye, and I was over the moon," Lisa said to WNBC. "I hadn't seen Peter that happy in a long time."

To add to the specialness of the occasion, Lisa's daughter, Sarah Brehant helped to throw the event. She owns a wedding planning business and knew how important the moment would be for her stepfather, Peter.

"I knew that my stepdad, who I am very close with, was there through some of the toughest times of my life," Brehant told the Washington Post. "He means so much to me, and my mom is my best friend, so I was proud to be able to take on such an important role."

A video of the wedding has been posted to YouTube.

"I just want to be open and honest and tell people what we're experiencing, because you might too," Lisa told Today of why she has been open about her journey with Peter, from the good moments to the painful ones. "I'd rather know it and be prepared. That's my whole mission, too."
